I was in this store for 15 minutes looking at paint swatches. No one came out to offer an assistance. However soon as a white woman comes in, an associate comes out immediately, greets, and offers to help. WTF ! I would never purchase anything from here and bring the negativity into my home ... Sherwin-Williams-Williams, let's try treating people with respect and common courtesy !

It can take a ridiculous amount of time to get helped but honestly it's understandable considering there is only a couple associates available to help, and they seem to value quality over quantity when dealing with the customers. For example, the associates working made sure to cover any question or make suggestions to the customers they were with and I could tell that they actually cared about making the best of the experience. When it was finally our turn to get help, the associate was very detailed with sharing the different finishes of paint (it was our first ever project) as well as the most popular colors and even suggested trying a sample of a custom color. As it turns out, the customer color sample turned out perfect and we opted to purchase a can of the custom color and 2 cans of pure white in velvet to use for our project.I haven't had other paints to compare with, but the paint quality definitely seemed up to par as it held very well in both the brush and roller when finishing the walls. The finish was exactly as described and looks perfect in the room of our project. I would certainly return during less busy hours because waiting to get service may be a bit annoying, but overall the quality of service and the selection seem great at this location.

Store Manager Joshua Hamilton was beyond helpful when I visited recently to determine what paint I need for a garage and whole house paint project. He is so knowledgeable and I walked away with an entire list of what I will need to order as the times come up for each area. He had some color recommendations as well which I'm sure will lighted my condo. Thank you Josh!

Sherwin-Williams Paint Store is the perfect place to start your project. I recently wanted to update the whitewash on my doors and stopped at this location of Sherwin-Williams Paint Store. The service was very good and I was able to get all of my painting supplies at one stop. The products are somewhat expensive but I want quality results - not the contractor grade look. I finished my project the same weekend and my house looks fantastic. There is nothing to not like about Irvine's Sherwin-Williams Paint Store.

AVOID this store! When the color that you thought you were ordering and it does not come out as expected, they simply cover their a** with the "no refund or return policy. That is fine but when I questioned why, since the customer right before me had the same problem, I asked could it be that the computer needed to be recalculated and they became very rude. I pointed out that the color was not the same as the color chip and was told that it was because of the different sheen, it was no where close to the chip color. I asked why I wasn't told that when I made the purchase, the reply was that they are not there to educate me. As I was leaving behind my back they laughed and said "well there goes another important customer". Yes, they did lose an important customer, not because I am out $37 but because of the rude "customer service".

Brought two samples for touchups. They matched the color, but new paint is a lot more shiny than the samples. No good. UPDATE: went back to same store - they didn't have the right base... meaning they used the wrong base KNOWINGLY. Also called the 800 number you gave, they told me to get lost (politely), hiding behind their policy. So I will dispute the charge with CC company as last resort. Thanks for wasting my time and showing your true colors, jerks.

When the store employees mess up your custom color order, they simply cover their a** with the "no refund or return on custom tint" policy, and that's it. The only favor they can do is recycle the messed up paint for free, or offer more wrong choices. Bad store, bad policy, bad experience all around.
