It was overall rly good. This one worker calyra was rly nice and got us free samples, shade matched me with a skin tint and answered any questions I had. The sephora itself is also pretty big but it doesn't have some brands Like lancôme..

As a black woman shopping here, I don’t feel comfortable. They constantly asked me am I okay(3 times in 1 minute) while the blonde hair blue eyed ladies were left unbothered. Also, their lines are very limited. Their selection is mostly catered towards their fair skinned customers. Dermalogica was very limited. However a gentleman with clown makeup on was kind to me and even helped me receive a sample of my moisturizer that they didn’t have in stock. I appreciate his hospitality. I’m from New York visiting and I think I’ll stick to Sephoras in NY.

I made an appointment for an eye brow waxing on the app as they advised me on the store. I did it and the first one available was two hours later. So I decided I would try and spend some time around the mall just to wait for my appointment time. The time comes and I showed up to the store for my appointment and they turn me away saying that the girl that does the waxing left early and they couldn’t text me or let me know so I wouldn’t have to wait and waste my time? Also while we were shopping around one of the employees was super rude to my mom that was trying on different shades of the highlighters on her hands and he came up to her in a very rude manner telling her not to be touching around. Ahmm isn’t that the whole point of the testers

Disgusting service and rude employees. Like rabid dogs, employees get angry when filming on the phone. Do you know why? Those who have nothing to hide should not be aggressive on camera. The salon is very dirty, all the products are mixed up. Unsanitary conditions, huge queues. Rude staff. I guess they want to hide all these problems, MAYBE they use child labor? I don’t see any other logical reason why two employee dogs attacked me. Definitely a dislike for the rabid dogs who were hired as a custom service manager. CLASSIC DISGUSTING AMERICAN SERVICE.

I always come in with complete comfort to ask many questions. I was able to receive the eyeshadow treatment for photos. I came in twice and both Trang and Jessica were able to place the make-up I needed for my special day. I was never forced to take something I didn't like on me. I always love getting the make-up treatment. I want to try the full glam one too. Other make up artists were charging way too much.

Not sure if she ACTUALLY works here, but one of your employees decided to go off calling people ugly and retarded in a Facebook group today- due to that I urge people NOT support this specific location as they clearly are okay with their employees using ableist slurs and insulting people for no reason. Her name is Mandy Grives (unsure if that is her real name or not).

Jade was very helpful. The customer service here is great. 4 stars because they didn't have the rand make-up I was looking for but I did get a birthday gift for shopping so that was very nice.

This location should operate a lot better than it does for such a high volume store. Staff is unprofessional. They don’t carry many best selling lines, you have to order items online or go to another store. id rather drive the extra 20 minutes and shop at the South Coast Sephora instead.

I am deeply disappointed by the distressing incident my son and his friends experienced at the Irvine Spectrum store on February 17, 2024, between 5:30-7:30 PM. They visited irvine Spectrum to celebrate my son's 14th birthday and to purchase his first cologne at Sephora-this was his first outing alone with his friends. Unfortunately, the visit at Sephora turned unpleasant due to an accusation of theft by an individual, possibly a salesperson or vendor at the store- no reasonable suspicion except that she said she felt that one of the boys was looking at the camera. This lady, grabbed one of the boys, a minor, and forced them to empty their pockets and backpacks publicly. This humiliating experience was witnessed by their female friends from school who were also there, making it more embarrassing . After she didn't find anything on them, Instead of apologizing, the lady rudely walked away stating that they still look suspicious. After hearing about this me, and the other parents were absolutely livid! I spoke to the manager, McKayla, on February 18, 2024, at around 6:00 PM. While she was professional and sympathetic, she failed to follow through on her promise on calling me back in the next couple of days after she investigated the incident. As a long-time Sephora customer with positive experiences, specially at the Laguna Niguel store, this incident has shocked and upset me. And want management to address the unjustified actions and unwanted touching by an adult on a minor. I trust that you will investigate and take measures to prevent such incidents in the future. I hope my children can shop at your store without fear of harassment or discrimination based on their age or appearance.

Half-empty display cases, expired goods, in particular foundation from the company ilia. a thick layer of dust on the windows of rose inc. testers stink of old. When I took the Charlotte Tilbury facial contour tester this brown liquid leaked all over my palm because the tester was broken. I understand that customers are different and break things, but order and cleanliness are important. 02.23.24 at about 11 am, the girl (plus size) employee who is standing at the entrance behaved very vulgarly, screamed loudly, laughed throughout the store and clapped her hands when communicating with another employee, it felt like you were in a circus. When I was calmly reading the ingredients of the cream, one of the employees literally pounced on me with excessive attention, began to say something a lot, I was honestly scared. The experience of communicating with another girl, if I remembered the name correctly, then Jane was very pleasant. P.S. I have nothing against plus size, I myself am plus size. People came to enjoy shopping, study the product, enjoy the time spent making their next purchase for their loved one, there is no need to yell and spoil the impression and attract attention to themselves.
