Bad experience would not recommend only if you like being disrespected having your time wasted and driving back and forth 3 hour job turned into 2 weeks because Safelite AutoGlass Irvine couldn’t calibrate the car on the 2nd day they gave me my my car and as soon as I get into the freeway I get an alert that my drivers assistance is not working and is disabled I have to drive all the way back while calling them on the phone with no answer once I get there to the empty lobby Safelite AutoGlass tells me they have to recalibrate again and it’ll be around 40 mins.1hour passes they tell me they found the problem they Safelite auto glass broke a sensor during the install and will have to replace it a week from now because of the glue causing damage to the car if done right now .so then I leave with my car and I attempt to call using car play and it’s not working but it was right before I pulled in to have them recalibrate again I don’t know how they messed you the car play but they did it’s frustrating when you turn your can in to them perfect and they give it back to you damaged and dirty all around bad experience only reason I have to deal with them is because carmax is fixing my windshield under warranty. I would much rather find another option elsewhere they also left their trash from when they were eating in the car . They broke the head unit holding the rear view mirror didn’t say anything about that,they also cracked my shifter plastic this whole experience has been awfully stressful they have not done anything to make this right shows what kind of work they offer 8/15/2024 Update So I was able to get in contact with customer service. They had an attitude and once I told her about the situation, she calmed down and said that Irvine Safelite location would give me a call back after she explained the situation to him amd reminding him (Jeremy) employees can’tbe eating in the car, leaving the car with smudges and giving it back broken.She also gave me a client care number to escalate the situation further but every time I call that number no matter what time of day they never never answer the phone never got a call back from the or voicemail , IIt’s been two days no call back no voicemail nothing when I go on August 20 for my final experience with Safelite I hope their able to get all this resolved I have had to keep wasting my time and money for the unprofessionalism at Safelite Irvine and their customer service is nowhere to be found .They have not reached out to help at all nothing to ease the frustration of having a car you just bought get broken down grabbed with filthy greasy hands all over luckily the interior is white or else I would’ve have noticed DONT TRUST YOUR CAR WITH THIS LOCATION OR SET OF PEOPLE THEY DONT CARE THEY HOPE YOU WONT NOTICE THE UNPROFESSIONALISM AND DOWNRIGHT DISRESPECT.

The only real saving grace is that the waiting room is air conditioned. Otherwise, horridly high prices and poor communication. I was told the molding for my windshield was sun damaged, but was assured it would work perfectly fine. I was assured it was only a matter of aesthetics. Once I drive on the freeway, both moldings come off and one comes off completely. I scheduled a follow-up appointment to fix this issue, and was told that they wouldn’t do anything since I “was told they were fragile”. If they weren’t going to hold, I should have been told that and it could have been taken care of the first time. Instead, I was told everything would work fine and it did not. If you want to waste $470 then this is the place. Otherwise, don’t bother.

Not very pleased with customer service, had my truck done and when it came to calibrate it, they drove off with my truck after it been professionally detailed and cleaned, and came back with mud BLASTED from top to bottom and tons of gas just wasted . Then they told me they couldn't calibrate it and I asked for someone to come back so I scheduled for someone to come out because driving to thier irvine location eats allot of gas, so they scheduled someone to come back down only to get a text on the day and time of next appointment to come to Irvine which defeats the purpose, they did not reimburse me for the inconvenience and gas and time out of my day from work, or even to reimburse me for the truck detail i had done. This was my FIRST TIME doing business with safelite.

Safelite Auto Glass worked great with my insurance. Antonio was my service technician. He was professional and I am satisfied with the overall experience from the staff. The young lady at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful. Thank you.

Very possibly the worst customer service I have had in a long time... Scheduled my car for a windshield replacement. Was told over the phone it would take 2 to 3 hours. Dropped it off at 8:30 after driving from San Clemente to Irvine - then was told it would take longer, but was told I had to leave my car there rather than bring it back later (they said they couldn't get onto it right away because there were cars in front of me). So Uber'd to meetings. Tried calling a couple of times to get updates, but couldn't get through to the store. Uber'd to the store at 3pm and they hadn't started it and told me they wouldn't start it for a while. So had to leave without the replacement windshield and will be doing my road-trip to NorCal with a split windshield...
Clearly their customer is our insurance company and they are not the slightest bit interested in the car owners... Very disappointing...

Whitney at the Bozeman safelite was wonderful with addressing our concerns and providing options. We just stopped by for a small crack on the front windshield and worried it would expand while on vacation. She made sure we could get an appointment, replacement, and insurance claim filed for when we return home. Thanks for being so.thorough.and honest.

They don't understand the concept of an appointment. I had an appointment at 10 AM and they still have not started work on my vehicle at 11:30AM. Knowing that I was waiting for my vehicle at their shop you would think they would be more attentive to keeping the scheduled time. I feel that it is better to drop off your vehicle at the dealership, get a loaner and don't worry about when the vehicle will be completed. It's worth paying the extra $ for your own convenience. I won't take this step again!

I had a great experience at this Safelite location. My appointment was at 2pm. As soon as I checked in they took my car in. They informed me that it would be done in a time manner & it was. I worked with Antonio & he exceeded my expectations on time & quality of service.

I had a windshield chip repaired by Mason today. Everything, from check-in to pickup, was seamless. He was very professional and did a great job of communicating what I could expect. I can hardly tell where the crack was. Thanks for taking such great care of my car, Mason!

Not sure why there are so many negative reviews, maybe it has to do with specific and complicated cases. I have visited this location twice and brought in both of my cars for small chips on the windshield and I have been satisfied with the service. The technicians are polite and the process has taken me less than 45 minutes in both visits.

I had scheduled a windshield replacement through Safelite, but it was cancelled twice due to stock issues. Between the two cancellations, I found out that an authorization was needed for the original glass, but I was not informed about this requirement. As a result, I had to wait for 6 weeks and make multiple phone calls to resolve the issue. The system even locked my number, making it impossible for me to contact them. The representatives seemed unaware of how the system works. Although my insurance representative had put me on hold and called Safelite to inform them that the authorization was approved, the very next day Safelite was not aware of the approval and the representative did not know how to read her screen regarding stock. I would advise staying away from this company if you want to save yourself from unnecessary stress and frustration impossible to get a hold of an agent to ask a basic questions.

I have used this safelite location many times with no issues until this latest instance. My husband needed his rear winshield replaced. They first ordered the wrong one, no big deal, mistakes happen. Then when they were installing the new one, they broke it. Needed to keep the truck there overnight so they could order a new one and they finally replaced it. All was good until we had a huge amount of rain and realized they didn't seal the winshield properly, and the entire rear cabin of the truck was flooded! They resealed the problem area and we haven't had issues since, but we asked for an interior detail be done on the truck because it now smells of mildew. They supposedly scheduled someone to come do it, but when we followed up with them we got no response. This location and manager is terribly difficult to get a hold of and it just hasn't been worth it for us to keep trying to track them down. I will come here for chip repairs but full replacements I would be hesitant. The woman at the front desk is also very unfriendly. Overall, this location needs to work on their customer service and consistency in quality of repairs.
