I love this teather since it's clean and at the spectrum. It has lots of shops and restaurants to visit before and after a movie. Their concessions are not bad since they also got boba drinks and a coffee shop, there is also a bar to buy adult drinks. People working there are nice and cordial.

The guy I've been dating is a part of the monthly Regal movie program so this has become a date night spot for us. We went to see Five Nights at Freddy's which we both really wanted to see. We were both pretty hungry when we got there so we ordered some movie theater food. My boyfriend got chicken tenders and I got a chicken sandwich. I saw the Taylor Swift popcorn bucket and cup while we were waiting for our food and contemplated on getting it. I really only wanted the cup but it came as a duo so I got the bucket as well. The theaters that we went to had recliners which made the movie experience that much cozier. A few weeks later he told me he really wanted to see the new Marvel movie so we went! We were lucky to get the recliner chairs for this movie experience too! Normally not a Marvel fan but this movie was SO great! Overall love going to the movies at the Irvine Spectrum!

The regal theaters in Irvine spectrum have definitely gotten a facelift in the last few years and I am here for it.If you’re not looking to get robbed by their competitor’s monthly subscription access, you can come with a friend and still enjoy a movie in their stadiums with reclining seats. I find that they’re just as comfortable and the selection for reserving tickets, concession items, and everything else are pretty much the same.Parking here is never fun but it’s a nice area and I like frequenting the food stores right beside it. It’s a fun place to go both day and night and the crowd isn’t usually rowdy. The theater is pretty clean and I like that their icees and popcorn are refillable as well — an absolute must!(34/100—2023)

Respect and love that on Veterans Day, Regal would arrange for an outside organization to be able to have space at the entrance to host a special exhibit of veteran hero, Desmond Doss, and to host a special viewing of Hacksaw Ridge. A unique opportunity for more people to learn about this incredible life and the courage and sacrifices past and current day veterans make for the cause of peace and freedom. One of the theaters was reserved for a free showing of Hacksaw Ridge. Even more powerful and moving to see it on the big screen. I had only seen it previously at home on TV.Regal staff wrote handwritten cards on patriotic stock thanking veterans for their service and for us who attended this special showing. They spoke to us as well.Visit desmonddossedusodes.org/…to learn more about the organization. They just launched a free virtual youth character development program.Bravo to Regal for making a difference!

We were here on a Tuesday night. Nice, clean theatre. Not too busy or crowded. We purchased our tickets on the app ahead of time. The woman scanning our tickets was very friendly and welcoming. We did not eat or drink. The women's restroom smelled horrible. It smelled like someone's dog had either peed in there or someone mopped the floor with urine. It was pretty gross. Parking sometimes takes a minute. I think the Spectrum is hard to get in and out of.

This theatre is really large, and overall clean. Came to see Oppenheimer on IMAX and the theatre was huge with stadium seating. The seats recline and are comfortable, but are not your fully reclinable seats that are now popular with other theatres. I thought there was plenty of space between the aisles for those concerned with legroom (for the exception of maybe the rows that are right behind a railing... the wheelchair accessible rows?) We sat in the last row and the view was great. With IMAX films, there are no previews (or at least for our showing there were none and we were told it was because of the format). They started a few minutes late to allow more people to make it to their seats before the movie started. The main ding on this theatre are the lines for concessions! SSSSSSLLLLLLOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. With several lines of over 5 people each, there didn't seem to be any sense of urgency behind the counter. Popcorn was hot and fresh so that was good.

YOU MUST COME HERE!!!!! This is one of the best theater I have ever been to!!! Ever since they changed it to Regal, this is like a brand new theater!! Everything inside is completely renovated. They don't even have those old school box office where you buy your tickets, now you could just buy them thru their Kiosk machine when you enter the theater. They sell almost everything here, I m glad they even serve coffee here as well. I came here to watch Gran Tourismo in their 4XD theater, which they have seats that move!!!! Its like sitting on a roller coaster ride, they might need to add seat belts to the seats!!! In the beginning the sound of the motor underneath the seat was kind of annoying but it went away later. It was fun that sometimes the seat will shoot a mist of water right next to your ears just to match with the movie scene. I have joined their Unlimited Access membership, which for $23.99 a month, you can watch any movie( 2D only), any time, and as many times as you want. But you have ti pay extra for the IMAX,3D,VIP, etc... PLUS their inconvenience Convenience Fee of $.50 for each movie. But at the end it's still worth it because with AMC, they only allow you watch 3 a week for $22. I will come back again soon for another one!!

The security guard on the 2nd floor repeatedly harassed us by questioning the legitimacy of our tickets and whether they were scanned, despite other employees already checking them at the ticket entrance and when we ordered our popcorn. This disrespectful behavior, along with his phone usage on the job, clearly demonstrates his unprofessionalism and justifies his termination.

Wow it has been years since I've seen a movie and this place is just so nice inside! There are even nice seats in the middle of the area where you buy your food and drinks. It's just such a nice area with food stands on the sides as well, and even a coffee cafe area too. I didn't order anything but I was just amazed at how nice it was inside and very clean. Seats were comfortable too and it wasn't too cold in the theater.

Pro:-ample parking and valet-lots of places to shop or eat around spectrum-wide space inside theatre, multiple concession area, VIP area included-easy to get toCon:-dirty outside; cockroaches spotted outside while walking around-seats didn't look like they were clean beforehand-movie started late (almost 30 mins past scheduled time; no previews for Oppenheimer)-seats could be more comfortable for imax

My son and I wanted to see Oppenheimer in IMAX 70mm so this was the theater to go to. It was a Friday, 2:50 p.m. showing. It was sold out. The movie was enthralling. 3 hours long and we wanted more. Seats were comfortable. Theater was clean. Definitely a good experience. ?

Home of the 70mm IMAX Theatre in Orange County - I came to watch Oppenheimer on National Cinema Day. The Irvine Spectrum was as busy as it can be. Parking was difficult to find, and I don't recall being this active since 2019.The entrance to the theater is grand and has a similar layout to the movie theater in Universal City Walk. What's different about this theater is that all the ticket purchases are done through the kiosk. They also have a separate vendor for the ABCs (alcohol, boba, and coffee). After waiting almost 10 minutes for popcorn, I left the line and headed toward the bar for booze instead. The entrance to Theater Room 12 (IMAX) needed to be clarified. You will not see a number by the door like all the other rooms; rather, a large IMAX display leads to a tunnel and eventually into a vast area. The screen must have been like five stories tall. This GIGANTIC SCREEN was spectacular for a movie like Oppenheimer. Did you know that The Oppenheimer IMAX 70mm Film Reel is over 11 miles long and weighs over 600 pounds?

OH MAH GOSH! I felt like a boomer (I am a boomer at heart lol) experiencing 4DX at Regal for the first time! The chairs rumble, move back/forth, air coming out, water spray, 4D glasses! I felt like I was in the movie! WOW! What an experience! If you have little ones or going out on a date or just hanging out with friends - try 4DX. It was so much fun. Everyone was happy and clapped their hands at the end. LOL.I purchased ticket online and paid the online "CONVENIENCE FEE" because it was fully booked within the hours of $4 announcement. You don't pay any extra fee if purchase at the theater but by then tickets are sold out or good seats are gone so kinda have to bite the bullet here with "FEES".This Regal looked nice on the outside and huge inside! I watched the movie in the early AM so it was not crowded. When I was leaving after the movie, there was quite a lot of people. Not to mention today was the annual $4 movie day!PARKING - if you come early in the day, parking is great! If you arrive later in the day - good luck with parking. This is like the heart of Irvine where LOTS of people come for food/shopping etc.
