Nice clean facility, checked in 15 min prior to appt for annual blood test, prompt service and called at the scheduled time. In and out in less than 10 minutes.

Service was good, staff is great, knowledgeable, caring...Nurse was wonderful, gentle, thorough...However, issue calling 800 number to try to schedule an appointment, accepted my last name, birthday, but after several attempts, would not accept my first name...Place closes at 3pm...?????

Please go to Choc for all blood tests lab draws for your children. DONT GO TO QUEST labs for kids EVER. If you need quickly for adults and its convenient for you, then fine. But its not for children, they dont have the proper experience and the amount of blood they need to draw is high and unreasonable. Choc has people with proper experience, 5 yrs plus and they dont have to draw as much blood and no bruises. We had a horrible experience at Quest to do a blood test for our 1.5 yr old child (bruises, tears, both arms used, and to top it off-- they couldnt even use the whole vile of blood they had gotten!). Afterward we came to Choc. It was like night and day. The outpatient lab dept in the main campus (1201-A La Veta) was wonderful, a decorated office special for kids, and it was quick and painless for everyone. I was in shock after we left. Richard was such a nice guy, he did the test on my baby and baby didnt even cry during the process! I wanted to give the guy a hug. I rarely make such long review posts but this had such a big effect on my family that I wanted to let other parents know there's a better option out there (although its not in Irvine, its worth it to drive). Have your doctor fax the request for lab draws to Choc instead. Thank you again Choc, we will be back for all blood draws needed for any of our children going forward.

Worst Healthcare ever! My 4 years old’s appointment was at 8am and i showed up 7.50am. But i forgot my blood request paper at home and said them the paper will be here in 10mins. And my husband brrought the paper at 8.05am. They said i lost my appointment. And i should have make an another walk in appointment at 11.20am. My daughter was fasting and she was hungry. she is 4! I don’t think they are qualified for this job! No one should go there!
