My cat had his first dental surgery due to the tooth resorption a bit over a week ago, and I can't be more grateful to the team. The recovery is going well, my cat has had a good appetite and good mood since day 1. No infection developed.I chose to go with Dr Andrew Phositlimpagul who already gained lots of positive reviews from the clients, and the nurses I spoke to (Tori and Kathy) showed themselves only as kind, friendly and knowledgable. The entire team (including the receptionists) sounded genuinely welcoming and eager to help. If anything happens again with the cat in the future, I will go to Dr Andrew without any hesitation. He was compassionate to the point that he accommodated my travel schedule and saw my cat a week earlier. I also learnt that he is a cat owner himself, which adds up to the level of credibility. My cat is raw fed (he has been raw fed for over 4 years) and the doctor did not mind it. I like that his attitude does not contradict with the owner/director of the clinic, Dr Kathy. In the past, the other vet at this very clinic, however, advised us to switch to a commercial cat food. I am glad that it led us to meeting a wonderful specialist - Dr Andrew! Keep it up!

We've brought our Corgi here several times on the weekends for a variety of issues and each time the veterinarian who takes care of us is very nice, and the staff on hand are also very nice. I worked at a vet hospital myself back in the day so I feel very qualified to judge vet offices, and am happy to say this one doesn't give me any icky feelings.I really don't have much to say, all three times we have visited with our corgi, we get good advice and the problem gets solved pretty quickly, and for a reasonable amount of money (in my opinion). Unusual for vets I have been to in the past, the actual veterinarian will call you after a few days to see how your pet is doing, which is super nice, even when I miss the call the voicemail is still a nice thing.I am building up my nerve to bring our dachshund here for a checkup and maybe a tooth cleaning, but I love him so much I don't want anything to happen to him so it's taking a long time, but it'll happen.... some day...

Absolutely love the staff and vets here! I've been around the block with going to vets so I know a good when I see one! Staff are super attentive, always tries their best to followup and relay info, vets are amazing...special thanks to dr. andrew for putting up with me! Dr. andrew is so dedicated and no doubt goes above and beyond for your pet...his kind and calm demeanor can even keep my tazmania yorkie putty in his hands! On top of that, super knowledge! Can't get better than this! Thank you VCAPetpoint staff and dr. andrew! I know prices for vet care is expensive but if you are going to need to set aside budget for that, this is the place i would recommend.

Do NOT take your pets here. They are completely money hungry.I will only state the facts below:Came in 7 months ago because my dog was coughing. Spent hundreds of dollars on X-rays and found out my dog Max has a collapsed trachea.Dr. She told us we can either do surgery, put on anti-inflammatory meds or keep an eye out for now and monitor.Today I called to get anti-inflammatory medication .I was told that he would need ANOTHER X ray just to get the meds to make him comfortable.Asked to speak to a doctor on staff there and they let me know that only Dr. She can speak to us since she was the doctor that last saw Max.Well Dr. She only works on Sundays. So I will have to wait a few days to even get a call back.I have spent some money taking Max to acupuncture here along with his normal check ups.Having to do an another X-ray seems completely pointless as the trachea is STILL collapsed. I see no point in this other than to run a nice charge.Meanwhile my dog is suffering. Looking for other vets as we speak. Save your money and DO NOT GO here!

Our dogs have been patients at PetPoint since we moved to Orange County about 4 years ago. We've always found the team to be friendly, knowledgeable, and understanding. A few weeks ago we brought our 10 year old pug, Max, in for his annual exam and to have a lump on his back checked out. It ended up being a mass cell tumor and he was going to need surgery. We lost a dog in 2010 while under anesthesia so we were very nervous about the procedure. We expressed our concerns to Dr Andrew who was very patient and understanding. He took the time to listen and address our concerns and did not rush us to make a decision. On the day of surgery the team took the time to update us every hour or so on his progress which is above and beyond what we could have expected. When we picked Max up, Dr Andrew took the time to discuss how the surgery went and what to expect. I can't say enough about Dr Andrew and the team. We feel very lucky to have found this veterinary office. Highly recommended!

Vet visits always give me and my elderly dog some anxiety. However, I trust this place for my Moo Moo over any other vet. They are very caring, patient and empathetic. When Moo turned 15, she had symptoms of what I determined to be Old Dog Vestibular Disease. I made an appointment with the vet and let them know of her symptoms and what I thought it would be. When I took her in, the vet checked her out and noted all her symptoms. I REALLY appreciated that he also asked what I thought it could be so he can either confirm or rule it out. After running the tests, the vet was 90% sure my suspicions were correct and gave me a few inexpensive medicines and nutrients to help her be at ease while she went back to normal, and also advised me to call if anything worsened or if I wasn't seeing any progress. Lo and behold, 3 days later she was pretty much back to her normal self! The vet called and asked how Moo was doing and was genuinely happy that she was herself again!About a year later, Moo had a large growth growing on her head so I brought her to PetPoint to discuss removal options. Dr. Andrew and the staff were very kind and explained the surgical procedure to me and were very honest on the various possibilities of performing surgery on an old dog. What I also appreciated was that they were upfront about the costs and gave me an estimate quote so I can go home and talk about it with my family before making any decisions. Dr. Andrew performed her surgery about 2 weeks later and it went perfectly! Moo was in and out of surgery in less than 20 minutes and had so much energy as soon as she woke up. Her growth was sent to the lab and everything was benign so the entire experience was extremely positive. She was able to get her stitches removed a week later and that was also a really quick 10-minute visit. This was over a year ago and Moo is turning 17 this year and is still so full of life and energy! Even the entire staff here is impressed with how youthful she still acts. I trust this place to treat our fur babies with speed, without sacrificing the detailed care. No long wait times or keeping the animals in a small cage for hours like other vets.

My dog was suffering from extraordinary itchiness so I took her to see Dr Kathy. All she did was the usual (checked her temp, teeth, ears, suggest the usual rx (which we had already found ineffective), and gave up - just attributed to food/environmental allergies. Couldn't figure anything else out because her cursory visual inspection concluded there were no skin infections. 2nd vet I took her to tested the skin between her nails and found both staph and fungal infections. At the time, I was ignorant of such a test or else I would've suggested it to Dr Kathy, though in my defense, shouldn't she have already known to do that? My poor dog suffered an extra month before I was able to get her into see this other vet and I blame Dr Kathy for that. I thought I was paying for diligent, top-notch vet care with this place but alas, no. So if you've got a healthy dog and just need routine care from people who are friendly and nice, Petpoint is the place for you. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

I recently visited VCA Pet Point Animal Hospital with my Frenchie puppy and I couldn't be happier with the service we received. The entire experience was seamless and efficient - from the welcoming and helpful receptionist Juliet over the phone, to the clean and comfortable waiting room, to the prompt and thorough care from the veterinarian. The entire visit took only 20 minutes, and I was impressed with the speed and quality of care my puppy received. I highly recommend VCA Pet Point Animal Hospital for anyone in need of top-notch veterinary care.

I took our dog for stomach acid issue. The doctor (Andrew) and the nurse were amazing. They were caring, thorough, and transparent about the care needs. They told us about the care options and the associated costs at the consultation and we went with their recommendation. When we came out to the front lobby to pay for our medical bill, the front lobby staff began to engage us bit standoffish. One of them inquired about the pet foods we were given and decided to do a price adjustment on her own and explained to us they need to add more since we received two extra can foods. Didn't feel too good about them policing the pet bill and $12 extra. When the final bill came out, the bill went up by $30 so I asked how does the price go up by 30 when they said they will raise it up by 12. Another person told us matter of factly that she will get our nurse to come out and explain to us. I waited about 15 minutes and the nurse came out apologizing to us that there were system errors and that they will do the price adjustment but it will take a while so asked if they could email the adjustment so I agreed and left. It wasn't the money that bothered me so much. It's the front lobby staff's attitude that brought out unpleasant ways of engagement. Not one time they said they were sorry, except the nurse who were so apologetic. They(front lobby staff) probably thought it wasn't their mistake so no need to apologize. Well, you too are members of a team. If you can ensure the proper charges are applied, you can also apologize when the system made an error. By the way, they just refunded us the difference because updating system takes long... We have been with them for almost 4 years even after our move. Now, we will be looking for another place near by. We would have stayed even if the cost varies...patients can't know the true cost anyway. It's the reception folks that I just don't care to deal with, again.

I just took my senior yorkipoo here for a skin infection and I am so impressed with this place. I wish I knew about it yrs ago. I was able to get an appointment in a timely manner and there was barely any wait in the office. They're organized and clean. All the staff is super nice. I like that you go in like a Dr appt and don't drop them off in a kennel setting. My dog is a rescue and I can't do that to her. The Dr said she'd follow up in a week to see how she is doing after her medicine. No Dr human or dog has ever called and followed up. That is such good bedside manner I haven't seen since I was a kid. I wish I could find a human Dr so nice. My dog has never had anything wrong like this in all my years owning her so I was stressed out it could be worse , and they eased my worries. They thoroughly checked her. And they are affordable compared to other places I've gone. My dog absolutely loves her new vet. Thank you so much for the awesome care for my fur baby and understanding my anxieties and being sympathetic. We are definitely doing the rest of her care here. I can't speak highly enough of this place and Dr Wentworth. Thank you.

It's hard for me to find a vet I trust, and after my last vet retired, I've tried numerous new ones. I'm so glad I found this vet hospital, especially Dr. Kathy Wentworth. I've finally found a vet I can trust. I also want to give a shout out to the two techs who showed me how to administer injections to my little Yorkie who needs them every two weeks. After the recent price increase, it just became too expensive for me to have it done at the hospital. I have been terrified in the past of doing it myself but they were so thorough in showing me what to do that when I tried it at home, it was a success. A huge thank you to both of them!

I love PetPoint! The vets are all very considerate of my wallet when helping make decisions regarding our dogs health and treatment options. They don't just pump meds at you and send you home. Also, the guy they have come for teeth cleaning is absolutely a dog whisperer lol. He's the only one that my little Ruby brush her teeth. Highly recommend PetPoint to all of my friends!
