I have a loan with PPB. They are from the 20th century. Their on-line services is horrible. Every year i have to call, wait on hold for 30 to 40 minutes just to get my 1099 Interest expense. They then take my call after a long wait and then email me the form as opposed to simply allowing me to download it off the internet. They are not a very friendly bank unfortunately and this is very frustrating.

By far the worst business bank I have dealt with in 20+ years of being in business. They have outrageous fees for no reason and will constantly try to slip them in on your statements so that you don't notice. They keep changing representatives, so no one is familiar with your business or your particular situations. As a business owner, I did all I could to keep my business afloat during the pandemic and keep my employees working. The bank made it extremely difficult by imposing regulations and wanting us to discontinue our relationship with any other bank. After trying to strong-arm us to only use their bank, we decided to pull all our funds out and just pay off our lines of credit. When our repayment plan didn't meet their idea of acceptable, they started sending me notices that they were going to file liens against my business and my home, even though I was making regular good faith payments all documentation was present. We never did anything except try to communicate with them and meet our fiduciary responsibilities as a responsible business. Please think twice about using this type of bank and any company affiliated with this bank, because they are not in business to help business no matter what they say. Best of luck.

Sorry if I'm hitting a branch with a terrible review but I can't seem to find a corporate place to do this. I have given PPI a try for over 5 years and I'm finally going to bail. PP acquired the bank I used on the central coast and I just went with the flow. Let's just say the transition did NOT go like they said it would in the brochures. Now, 5 years later I still have to call and work through why I cannot activate my new CC using the automated system....it says something doesn't match. Sheesh, I haven't changed my phone number, social security, or address since 2004, what could I be entering that doesn't match? I have called 3 times to get my account unlocked and every time I select \\\"call me back\\\" and I haven't gotten a call back. The wait for a live rep is always \\\"abnormally high call volume\\\". FYI, it isn't abnormally high if it's always this high. That means you didn't schedule around the known call volume. I simply don't have problems like this with my Credit union. It never gets locked and I can always call to activate my new CC. I can reach a human when I call too. PP seems too big for me. Goodbye Pacific Premier. I gave it a valiant try....too bad you didn't.

i have banked with this bank and/or it's predecessors for 30 years. each time they are sold the service gets worse. today to make a wire transfer--online--it took 1 hour, 4 phone calls, a fob with security codes, and a supervisor in l.a. i have over 7 figures on deposit so it isn't b/c i am a nobody. it is just crap business systems and service is now non-existent. they closed the la jolla (previously main) branch. they barely have real account execs. anymore. it's all computers and those computers are all out of date. yuk!!!

I have had nothing but trouble with this bank since it took over Opus Bank. I tried to set up online access. The website said I would be contacted to confirm. I was never contacted. It immediately got worse with the "abandoned account" notice I received within a week of trying the online access. I immediately called the San Pedro, CA branch to sort out the "abandoned account" issue and was told that my account was activated. I told him I wanted to close my account since there is no branch anywhere near me now that Pacific Premiere took over. The employee gave me a number to call. I called the number and was told that my account was "dormant," and that no one had reactivated it. I asked about a fed funds transfer, but was told I would need to fill out some sort of paperwork to get my account out of dormant status, then I could just write a check on my old Opus checks for the balance then close the account. The employee told me I would receive a form to fill out and I could scan it in or mail it to reactivate my account. I thought "OK...I guess it is better than driving to Portland to get this done." I just received the email, after hours on 19 January 2021, stating to be on the lookout for a different email that would contain the forms I need to complete. The email said I would have to either print, fill out, then scan in and email the form back or return it to a branch by 22 January 2021 or "the request would be cancelled." I still don't have the form from them. Tomorrow is the 20th. I'm not sure I will be able to scan this form in in time (especially since I don't have the thing yet!). This is a ridiculous deadline and horrible business practice. It is very much like they are holding my account hostage and then give me unrealistic deadlines. I hope I will get the email in time to allow me to fill out the paperwork and then drive 2 hours to the nearest branch to me. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with Pacific Premier Bank!

Looking for personal service from a bank? Here is where you can get it. Kathleen, Chandra, Trisha and Kelly are all super friendly! They work together to insure your banking relationship is 100% taken care. My Relationship Manager Lynn Nguyen is more like my business adviser. I always get any requests or issues resolved promptly from the professionals at Pacific Premier Bank.

God save you dealing with this bank. After 5 calls nobody can help me paying off my car loan. This bank is straight from the 80's there is no option to do anything online. I'm still paying via personal checks. Ridiculous. Customer service is clueless and rude. Thank god my business relationship with them is nearly over. Stay away!!!

Customer service is terrible. Would never recommend this bank to anyone. They say they will do things for you and never get it done.
