First time coming to this vet, and we were met with kind receptionists Maria, vet tech Euroh and Dr. Mario. We came in for a check up and addressed our concern for Archie's flaky skin. They helped us with everything we needed and got him vaccinated and cleaned up!

As a rabbit owner it can be pretty tough to find an exceptional vet for our babies. I am really glad that Northwood is excellent at seeing all pets and not just the general cat and dog. They care for all pets and have a lot of experience with rabbits. In the past I've brought one of my rabbits when I lived in Orange County and had an amazing visit. After experiencing rabbit loss, I've had a lot of anxiety about where to take my Teddy to get neutered and making sure he gets the best care possible. I've read about them passing during surgery and I wanted to make sure I pick the best I could for my little/big guy. I felt like I made the best decision bringing him to Northwood. With their experience and using laser surgery for neuters I was put at ease. It was a bit of a cost but worth every cent. Teddy was back to himself after 1 day. I was really worried he'd be in pain but nope, he was fine and on the mend very quickly. The staff is very kind and gave me all the information I needed. I'd recommend them to any rabbit owner.

Caring and loving! My puppy had a reaction to her first set of vaccines. She was perfectly fine at first but an hour later she would yipe whenever touched. I called them to see if there was anything I could give her for the pain. I was leaving for work in a few minutes, my husband was working at home that day. Neither of us were able to drive back to Northwood to pickup the prescription for her pain. An hour later the veterinarian showed up at our door with some medication for her! Amazing that there are still people like that in this world. They will have all my pets for life!!!!! And my puppy is doing much better now. Thank you!!!

I can't express my gratitude enough to Dr.Roberts. She's the most respectable, competent and compassionate vet I've ever had the privilege to meet.We rushed our piggie to her when he was in dire condition--unable to eat properly for a month and not receiving proper care from other vets. Fortunately, we found Dr. Roberts. She took him in on the same day, made a diagnosis, and provided the necessary treatment after her regular working hours. And she didn't even charge us at emergency rate. All her comments are evidence-based. For example, she suspected him having dental problem because of his foul breath, and his limping was stemming from his degenerative spine. It turns out that her diagnosis is accurate. He indeed had overgrown molars that had been preventing from eating. Thanks to Dr.Roberts' intervention, our piggie was finally able to eat on his own and enjoyed another 3 weeks of happiness. Sadly, he suddenly collapsed one day and passed away the next. Despite the hardships he had endured before meeting Dr. Roberts, he at least had the opportunity to experience 3 weeks of joy before his passing.Once again, Dr. Roberts has my eternal gratitude.

The doctors and staffs are friendly and professional. Plenty of bunnies come here because they have the best rabbit vets. The visits are $79 plus the nail trimming is $20. They also sell pet food and have a lost and found section.

Been coming here for years, Just wanted to update my review. My dog has extreme fear of nail clipping or filing. I can't even touch my dogs feet without her flipping out and running. Steve normally comes out and gets my dog. Very friendly and always enjoy his smile and friendly attitude. Great vet great staff!

OH MY GOD. Hands down the best vet I've ever been to. Dr. Roberts and all the other doctors there are incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, humane and any other words I can't think of for awesome to the max. I sincerely wish they were my people doctor and also see my bunnies. I've gotten the worst news here more than once within a six month period.. maybe seven months.. and all those horrible tragic moments were softened by my experience there. The way they inform you of what you have to do, care sheets, full estimate before they do anything but also will see your pets when they know you can't wait. I've gotten multiple same day appointments because with bunnies.. you never know. Things happen so fast. And they taught me so much. All the ways to treat GI issues, I thought I was well researched but in all the other vets, none of them told me about motility drugs. DUDE! Any rabbit owner would be in heaven if they know this thing existed. Ask! Most stupid vets won't even give you much options or if they do they're unnecessary. Northwood is very responsive in both email and phone calls. The staff are great, incredibly professional yet human. If you love your fur behinds, Northwood is the answer. Just please leave time for me. I hesitated writing this review because I don't want them to be busier than they already are. Not writing one would just be selfish. They also know a lot about rare diseases.. unfortunately for our household we know that now. But can also refer you to specialists if needed. There's also an in-house surgical room, grooming and housing. As well as a free-roam cyclops cat. Very badass and also very sweet boy.

We've been with Northwood Animal Hospital for 3 years. We have 2 rabbits and Dr. Roberts is amazing with them. Then we got our little shih tzu puppy and we decided to go with Dr. Roberts for her spaying surgery. It was the best decision ever. Dr. Roberts is the BEST! She took such fantastic care of our puppy. From pre-surgery to post-surgery. Our little one has a heart condition and Dr. Roberts took the time to answer all our questions and concerns about the surgery. Special accommodations were made to ensure a successful spaying surgery. Our puppy recovered quickly with the laser options. If you are looking for the best vet for your rabbits or doggie. Look no further.

Dear Dr. Roberts,Thank you for fighting so hard to save Valerie and other BWF rescued bunnies. This battle was lost but you did everything you could and we could not be more grateful for your unwavering compassion even after experiencing similar loss years after years in this profession. I hope your heart will heal from this as you have healed so many of our precious buns. You are a beacon of light for all bunny parents.

My bébé bunny Jameson and I looove the staff at Northwood Animal Hospital! Though it's located in a teeny tiny plaza, I love coming here because the customer service is amazing!Setting up an appointment is as easy as making a phone call. They'll ask if you're a new or returning member and then discuss reasons for your visit. For your first visit, they charge you 50% of the standard price which is great. Due to Covid restrictions, only one person may accompany the pet into the room so family must wait in the lobby or in the car. Dr. Roberts is a very well-known vet who specializes in rabbits and she is super sweet! She always calls Jameson "the perfect size" and makes sure to give great pets and snuggles before finishing up the check-up. There is a new requirement to have the RHDV2 vaccine even for grooming services but since it's safer for your bunny, I opted for this anyway. The vaccine is $45, the nail trim is $20-25, and the visit is $80-90 (can't remember). Overall, this is our primary choice in Orange County and I can't speak highly enough about how great the team is!(50/100--2022)
