Rude rude rude rude rude - this lady apparently doesn't want or need any more business. I guess she's booked and busy and not needing any more money for the rest of her life. I suggest not even calling her because she is so rude. It's unbelievable. OK I see she replied. I called and asked if she does sew-in weaves. She said yes I said OK great how much she would not tell me the price she asked me the length of my hair I told her she asked me what kind of weave I have I said it's silky and straight 14 inches she said she's booked till next year and she wouldn't give me an answer about her price !! Lol!! That is literally all I wanted to know - her price and she had every excuse in the book not to give me her price so she apparently doesn't want business, doesn't want any more money so she shouldn't have it. If she doesn't want any new clients, the universe will happily oblige. So if being a problematic customer is wanting to know a price before you step in the door then Yeah, I guess sign me up for being a problematic customer. Absolutely ridiculous and so unprofessional. You have been warned - Go there at your own risk...

Ms Mye is professional, kind and the salon is calming and relaxing. She specializes in making your hair healthy and beautifully styled. She evaluated each clients hair from the hair follicles to each individual strand! She meets the hair needs of her clients. She is an expert not doing it for the money she takes pride in making each of us beautiful! She has a spirit of EXCELLENCE and she makes sure you are satisfied prior to leaving her salon! Ms Mye is a Godsend to Orange County for women of diverse cultures and hair textures! I love her delicate nature while always being the consummate professional! LOVE HER!

Unfortunately, this was one of the worst customer service experiences of my life and I will not be returning. It took 5 hours to get my hair done. This was my first appointment, I waited outside for over 15 minutes. Immediately after greeting me, she told me I was going to call you and cancel, I didn't realize you had so much hair. This was a bit concerning, and it left me feeling incredibly uncomfortable. As the appointment began she continued to comment on how old she thought I was. I think you're older than my daughter. She repeated this statement over and over again. What does my age have to do with anything? The conversation had nothing to do with age and this happened a minimum of 4 times. I found this to be incredibly rude. After putting my conditioner on and sitting under the dryer I noticed she started to work on a client. This is normal. But then I noticed she worked on a 2nd client and as the 2nd client was under the dryer she pulled the previous client back into her chair. This was a person who came after my appointment. Then a 3rd person came in. She worked on 3 people, who all arrived after me, from beginning to end and I was still waiting. She then proceeded to finish my hair, without any apologies or asking me if I was okay with the timeframe. I was looking for a straight cut. I told her I like my ends to be blunt. After she cut my hair, she gave me a mirror to check and I began giving her feed back, because I noticed random longer pieces. As I was looking in the mirror, explaining what I wanted. She brought the scissors to my head and quickly sniped at my hair and said, "like that?" Mind you, I was standing, not in the chair, she came at me with scissors at an angle. This is not the way you cut hair. I couldn't believe the audacity. So I got out of there as soon as possible. She clearly didn't care and made it very evident she didn't want to properly cut my hair. Mye is incredibly brazen and rude. I would highly recommend seeking services elsewhere. .... In response: You don't need to know me Mye. You didn't know me when you did my hair. And you don't need to know me now. This is my experience and its an honest one. You also weren't accommodating me as we'd scheduled this appointment a month in advance. You were also aware of my length of hair as I sent photos per your request. This wasn't you trying to fit me in and do me a favor. What I experienced was you accommodating other customers ahead of me. Yes, its very common to work on multiple heads at a time, as I stated previously. But it's uncommon and downright disrespectful to have 3 clients begin after me and leave before me. And because of that I was in your salon for 5 hours. That absolutely happened as much as I wish it didn't. You were accommodating your regular clients, clearly. Regarding the haircut: at the time I was holding the hand mirror you were not cutting my hair. Nor did you ask me to stand so that you could cut my hair. You asked me to stand to check my hair in the mirror. I was actually leaning with my butt against the counter mirror at the time you approached me with scissors in hand and with no warning. I was not in any proper position to have my hair cut when you approached with scissors in hand. Yes, people may have a different opinion about you than I do but I can only go on my experience. And it would be very remiss of me to not share this with the rest of the public. I would never recommend you. In fact, I would adamantly suggest a more heart-centered customer friendly service provider. I will not be calling you as there is nothing further to discuss. Hopefully you can take these notes and apply them to new clients in the future. We all have our days but unfortunately, this one has left a bad stain, a blemish.

I can not say enough great things about Mye. My whole experience was amazing and I have to say she is the best hair stylist I have ever had. I always struggled finding hair salons that knew how to work with my curly hair but I never found a place or a person who I felt comfortable with. Mye is not only a hair expert but she is a beautiful person inside and out. I feel blessed to have found her!

I had a wonderful experience with Mye. I went to get a haircut for my long curly hair and I was just looking for something more manageable without sacrificing too much length. I felt like Mye really listened to what I was looking for, responded promptly, and did a fantastic job while being so sweet throughout the process. I am super happy with the cut!

Mye is the best! She is talented, friendly and a highly skilled hair designer. I don't think there is anything she couldn't style. She is the real deal and I will be taking my all three of my daughters to her and recommending her far and wide. The proof is in the hair.

I'm relatively new to the area and have been looking for someone to style my short, fine, curly hair. Mye was awesome! She asked several questions about what I was looking for, which was to taper my sides and nape a bit more since I did the big chop right before Christmas. I wanted a quick break from the naturally curly look and decided on a blowout and flat iron to finish. It turned out great and I received A LOT of compliments from family and friends. I highly recommend Mye and will definitely be going back.

Where do I begin?! I have never in my life experienced such rude and unprofessional behavior as I did with Mye. I personally made an full head weave appointment and takedown from the weave that she installed prior to that I had issues with as well. I arrive at noon on 10/29 and we do not start until 1:30. My boys were leaving school at 5, so luckily my boyfriend was able to pick them up. Total time spent on a takedown and install: 7.5 hours! Either the technique that she uses or the threading are off. I had countless issue with tracks lifting within a week and half after the install. At this point, I have no choice but to seek compensation legally.

I was looking for a new hair stylist to see if I can get a better results with my hair cut. I don't have a super curly hair, it is more a wavy hair but it is very thick and abundant. I got an OK hair cut but not even close to the pic I showed.

Mye was responsive immediately and got me in for an appointment in a reasonable amount of time. She has good prices and she listened to me, made suggestions and gave educational commentary. I have naturally curly hair which is very fine. She gave me tips on how to make my hair grow and appear fuller. Not everyone can work with curly hair. I will definitely be back she's a sweetheart.

Mye is simply amazing. I could not be happier with my hair! She followed exactly what I wanted and gave me tips and words of encouragement along the way!! I don't usually leave poor reviews but I think this time warranted it. First of all I had to wait 30 minutes for my appointment to start (appt was at 2 and it started at 2:30). I came in for a only a trim. Over the phone she told me the agreed price was $40 but then when the appointment was over she told me it was $60 (because she wrongly assumed I was a child and not an adult ??). I sent her a picture of my hair before and I do not look like a child. So it shows me that she may not have even looked at the picture beforehand. She also told me she could not lower the price because of how thick my hair is and that I'm not a child. She was very unprofessional and I think that she purposely told me a lower price to have me get the appointment and then only until after she had completed her service did she up charge me.

This was one of my top 3 hair experiences, ever. Mye was on time, professional, clean, efficient, thorough and did exactly what I asked for. I often go to a stylist, go home and "fix" my hair, but not this time. I am extremely pleased with my experience and highly recommend her.Service: Hairstyling

I hate leaving horrible reviews unless it is an extreme circumstance but this is surely one. Let me start off by saying that it seems like Mye has a history of being defensive and not taking accountability based off the screenshots I have posted of her replying to 1 star reviews. This has been a total nightmare that I am sure Mye will possibly try to dispute this claim with a passive aggressive comment. I spent $400 on a weave given to me from Mye that I took out 3 days later because of the pain. Turns out my scalp had a few scabs, small bumps and a lot of redness as a result of Mye's technique( I took photos that she now claims may not be my head though she did not originally say that when I sent them to her). I texted her when I was about to take it down because I wanted a refund. She wanted me to come to her salon at 9pm but I could not because I was 30 mins away and I was scared I would not find parking. After some back and forth she told me she would give me a refund and I was happy that she was taking responsibility and would have been fine with that. The next day I asked her where my refund was and she said she would send it Monday because of her bank. The weekend passed and today I asked her where my refund was and now she wants me to go down to Irvine so she can take pictures (of my now better scalp because of the treatment I gave myself). Though I have bald spots that magically appeared after she did my hair, which I have sent pics of to her, there is no need to take an hour out of my day to go down there when she was seemingly fine giving me a refund a few days prior. Mind you I took pictures of my scalp which clearly showed the condition as well that it was her work( she now claims she cannot tell if it is my scalp even though I am pretty sure she is familiar with her own technique of braiding) . We had a lot of back and forth which she suddenly suggests that I am being shady even though I showed her specific photos of my scalp as well as the weave out of my head?! WHY WOULD I TAKE A 3 DAY OLD WEAVE OUT OF MY HEAD IF I WAS NOT IN PAIN?!?! Also, when I first told her about my pain, it seemed to me like she was saying that it is my fault for not telling her my braids were too tight(which seems on brand for her) when she is supposed to be a professional. She also told me when I got my hair done that it was normal to feel pain after a day and to take medicine, hence why I waited it out a few days to see if the pain would get better. I have gotten multiple weaves done and have NEVER had my scalp been this damaged after which why I knew something was wrong. Luckily I reacted before I possibly went completely bald and my scalp is now in better condition(besides the bald spots). May I also add that the weave was bulkier than any that I have had(in my opinion, you can definitely find a better place for cheaper) and the cut she did was very choppy in my opinion. I honestly do not think her specialty is in thicker hair. And if she makes a mistake on your hair, well just know she may think it is somehow YOUR fault. She also said she wanted to document my scalp, which at this point is in better condition(she states that is is her professional obligation yet she has been unprofessional to me this whole time ) and that she would refund with cash even tho I sent her money over Venmo? That did not sit right with me. This is the most expensive and yet the worst hair experience I have had. I wasn't going to write a review because she seemed nice enough at the shop and she said she would get me a refund when I sent her pictures of my scalp, but now I am out $400 and my scalp is sensitive. Would give negative stars if I could. I forgot to add, I did say I would be able to go to her shop that Saturday for her to look at my scalp. She told me she would be out of town. I am confused because her business hours says she is open on Saturday as well, even though it is possible she was coincidentally out of town the day I said I could come in. She offered me a refund in the next message after I said I could come in on Saturday
