Went to the Hive & Honey rooftop bar. The views were nice. If you’re not sitting behind the Marriott sign. Service was ok. I had to chase down our waitress to get more drinks. Other than that it was a nice experience.
Nearby activities: Hive & Honey rooftop bar.

Be aware, this place has no self parking, only valet. Parking is so easy but they want to charge you 55 for valet parking.

I don’t want to say anything bad but maybe more attention to choose bartender and waitress.
Young man as a bartender should have more respect and polite listening skills and higher standards to serve drinks.and waitress should put service carefully and more respect to customers.it’s not to busy then they should have more time to serve

I can’t say enough great things about the staff at the Marriott Irvine Spectrum. Every time I stay here, they make it feel like home! From the moment I walk in, I’m greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The team consistently goes above and beyond to ensure my stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
Whether it’s a friendly conversation at the front desk or thoughtful touches in the room, the staff makes you feel truly welcomed and cared for. It’s rare to find a hotel where you feel this much at ease, and the Marriott Irvine Spectrum nails it every time. I always look forward to coming back!

I've stayed here so many times in the past, and I find it bizarre that your entire parking lot is VIP/Valet ONLY parking and not self park. You're loosing business by allowing only people to have VALET park, vs just being able to park on your own. I would expect much more from better management, this is CRAZY.

I stayed at this hotel while on vacation about 2 weeks ago. Arrived a little early and Daniel from the front desk checked us in right away. Great attitude and friendly service. Saw that I had a 4 year old son with me and offered a treasure of toys from which he can pick from. My son was very delighted that he could pick a free toy. Daniel made the check in process a breeze.
The rooms were modern and clean. The rooms were bigger compared to older hotels. My family enjoyed their time at the pool.
With having 2 kids, it would have been nice if this property had a microwave available. When I called and asked the front desk, they said they didn't have one available to deliver but were happy to microwave a product.
Besides that, everything else was great.

I attended a conference and stayed at this surprisingly nice Marriott. What spoiled this experience and shocked us was an incident yesterday (Sunday) afternoon. I was in the lobby seated in a group including a CEO and a Board member, but the TV in the adjoining bar area was BLASTING a football game. We could barely hear each other. For 10 minutes. A group of entitled patrons were seated, screeching at each other and laughing like hyenas. The staff did nothing. When I went to ask the bartender that the volume be turned down... this went on for ANOTHER 10 MINUTES before it was lowered, somewhat. It was still inappropriately loud but we could talk (loudly) and be heard.
The front desk - clearly in range of the noise - did nothing.
Is this typical of OC hotels? It is certainly not of Marriott. I can't imagine what any foreign travellers thought of a single group of patrons treating an entire hotel like a home or a great house. Unpleasant and grotesque.

**Review for Marriott Spectrum Irvine**
❌❌❌❌
I recently stayed at the Marriott Spectrum in Irvine, and I was extremely disappointed. The room was in poor condition, with outdated furnishings and a musty smell. It didn’t meet the standards I expected from a Marriott.
Additionally, the manager, Dominic, was unhelpful and dismissive when I raised my concerns. Customer service was lacking, and I felt ignored throughout my stay. Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel based on my experience. There are better options in the area.

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at the Marriott Irvine Spectrum. We encountered the worst manager named Dominic. Despite our request for a different room, he assigned us a special needs room. When we asked for another room, he rudely told us, "I can't help you. You can check out and you have 10 minutes to evacuate the room." He kept calling us, insisting that we leave immediately. This level of customer service was unacceptable and highly unprofessional.
