“Our mother passed away earlier this year, and so my sister and I have the unfortunate job of disposing of her possessions, which included some expensive jewelry, sterling silver utensils and serving ware, some old coins, etc. None of us wanted most of these things and so we spoke with jewelry stores, estate sale people, etc. to get estimates of value and what the items could sell for. The folks at The Gold Mine were not even comparable to anyone else we talked to. They are extremely knowledgeable and have experts on staff in things like coins, currency and gems. They were all kind, professional and best of all, the prices they paid blew everyone else away. I feel that they were the only place which made us a fair offer for our mom's valuables. (Other places clearly had far less knowledge and experience.) I came away with 5e belief that these folks are honest and fair. Of course, if you have the time to try to find individual buyers for your items, you might get a little more money - when buying things, they have to be able to make a profit when they resell them - but the folks at The Gold Mine made it so easy. I would absolutely do business with them again. And if you're buying, they have a great selection of valuable collectibles, including jewelry, rare coins and notes, etc. They are generous with their time and knowledge and there was absolutely no pressure, unlike several other stores we visited. There is a reason these folks have been in business for nearly 50 years.”

“Called to ask about Tantalum and Tungsten wedding bands. They don't carry them, but Mark spent several minutes answering questions about both metals and provided recommendations on where to find the best deals and recommended another local jeweler that would have bands I could see in person. If that's how they treat someone they already know will not be making a purchase with them, I'm sure their service is impeccable for an actual client.

TLDR: Went back to them for the band after deciding on platinum. Continue to be impressed by their professionalism and Mark's dedication to his work.
We ended up going back to Mark to get the wedding band after doing some additional research and deciding platinum was the way to go. We had no idea what we wanted, so Mark spent time researching and ordering sample pieces to give us an idea of the look and feel of different finishes, widths, and metals, and talked us through all of the different options. The final piece is beautiful and exactly what we wanted. We were also impressed by the speed of completion - for a custom piece, it was just over a week. The final piece appraised for much more than we paid and while it's understated (which is what we wanted) it is also very unique and impressive upon close inspection.
Can't say enough good things about Mark and Joseph Nelson Jewelry. This is the first and (probably) last place you should go for anything - Mark will make sure you get what you want and understand what goes into the piece and each of its elements so you can truly appreciate it.”

“The merchants here are so helpful, they have assisted nearly all of my family members find clothes for my wedding. The prices are reasonable and proportional to the materials and complexity of the stitchwork. When this style of clothing was so new to my family, they were super helpful in answering any questions, and had no problem digging through the shelves to find a specific thing to fit my family's criteria. They were not pushy to get a sale either. I would (and have) recommend this store to anyone.”

“Consignment stores are the luck of the draw. Sometimes you can go there and get lucky and other times. It's not your lucky day. But overall, the quality seems to be good, what I have learned is that a majority of this furniture gift brand new are sometimes from the department stores, and also from model homes. So you can find that these items are even hardly used, just for aesthetics. I am sure some of the items you can find elsewhere for cheaper, but the prices are pretty fair. There are some items that are on consignment, but still in pretty good condition so I would think that they have a certain standard that you have to have to be able to sell your items there. Definitely eclectic and you have some modern items there as well.”

“Yesterday I decided to do a little shopping before the rains would keep me from going outdoor shopping. I saw an awesome skirt in the window @ Cotton On . I tried on size 2 . I wanted to wear it lower almost at my hips . Carlos came to my rescue. He was able to take the size I needed off the mannequin. While I went to go try that size on , Carlos put a different size on the mannequin. Unfortunately the second skirt I tried on was the right size but when I asked if it would shrink when I washed . Carlos said very possibly it would. Once again poor Carlos had to take off another skirt again off the mannequin. Luckily for me Carlos so do patient with me . I was able to purchase the size skirt i needed. I felt bad that Carlos had to do so much for me . I felt it was important to know that Carlos went above and beyond for me . I feel like he would do this for all his customers. It's all about making his customers happy so they can keep coming back . Fernando was also very helpful. He took ge time to sign me up for the rewards program. Thank you Fernando. Carlos I can't thank you enough for your service!”
“My current obsession is fake nails and I know they had a great selection. When I say great, I mean massive!!!!! There were so many choices I literally looked through each one because even the ones behind it were different. Unfortunately the only downside is that it's definitely a bit pricey for sure but if you take care of them, you can use it a few times to get your money's worth. I am so happy I went here because their designs are so fun and different, I filled up a whole box at home and am enjoying them so far.”
