Have been seeing Dr. Young for a decade, and yet, the quality of care from Irvine Family Care has gone WAY downhill over the past year. EXAMPLE #1: Tried getting an in-office appointment for a foot injury, but because I had a slight cough, I was told over the phone by the office staff that they wouldn’t allow me to come into the office (even if I wore a mask) because “We don’t see sick people in the office any longer.” You are a doctor’s office and you don’t see sick people, really? Instead, was told that my only option was a “parking lot visit” where the PA would come out to my car to look at my foot. The PA came out to my car, looked at my foot, saw that the top of my foot was red and swollen, but then decided that the cause of swelling wasn’t anything wrong with my foot, but was instead being caused by my blood pressure medication. No X-Ray or any other type of scan suggested. Since the pain and swelling didn’t go away, I was finally able to get a referral to a podiatrist, where it was confirmed that I had a stress fracture in my foot. EXAMPLE #2: I was sent a letter from the PA (yes, because apparently making a phone call is too much to ask) saying that I had failed to complete and send them a blood pressure log, and that they needed this because my “health and well being is very important to us.” There was actually a good reason for not providing this information to them: I WAS NEVER ASKED to provide this. A short time thereafter I was informed by my pharmacy that my blood pressure medication "was rejected and not filled." Reached out to the office through their online portal to address this and ask that Dr. Young contact me to get this resolved, and yet after approximately 2 weeks, there has been NO response. Hardly the course of action I’d expect if my health and well being really was important to them. Not sure what has caused the level of care to drop so significantly, but it is clear that this office is no longer what it once was.

I just called the office of Irvine Family Care looking for a new physician to replace my primary care doctor who retired. Even though the search sites all say they are accepting new patients and that Medicare is accepted they are not accepting new Medicare patients. Please change the information available to the general public on your sites to reflect your current business practice.

Dr. Goodfellow has been my doctor for over 20 years for a reason. She listens closely to my concerns and is very thorough in her examinations. If she feels I need to see a specialist, she puts in the referral. She is very knowledgeable, competent, personable.

Clean, bright facility with a courteous staff. Whether in person or on the phone the staff was very helpful and patient in answering my questions. I never felt rushed. Dr Goodfellow is very knowledgeable and thorough. She listened patiently while allowing me to share. Dr Goodfellow clearly explained a care plan with recommendations and scheduled a follow up visit. I appreciate Dr. Goodfellow and her team's professionalism and genuine patient care.

The wait time is always ridiculous. It's at least a 45 minute wait. It's annoying that doctors always do this. Do doctors not think about the fact that people have a schedule and things to do? And they have the nerve to tell you to come 10 to 15 minutes early to fill out some paperwork. There is absolutely no respect for your time.

I have been seeing Dr. Goodfellow for several years. My adult son also sees her. She is always thorough and takes the time to address any questions or concerns that I have and I never feel rushed. This is the way a patient should feel when seeing their doctor and I truly appreciate the level of care that I receive.

Great service in the Dr's office! Very knowledgeable and most compassionate physician which my children and I are happy with! When I had an issue they were quick to respond and problem solve too! Very nice front office staff too.

My interaction with Doctor Ronald Young was very unpleasant. He come off as a extremely snobby and condescending person! He did listen to my questions at all and tried to rush me off the phone.

Only giving one star for my actual physician, the staff and office are not even worth a single star. I have been a patient there for many years and have always had a bad experience with the front office. Every single front office employee is incredibly rude and never give straight forward answers. They are always condescending on the phone, and have brushed me off multiple times when I had true health scares. I have been pushed to tears by them and truly resent going to the doctor because of this staff.

Been a patient for longer than I care to remember 71 now and this medical office has always been been there for me - helped me find and treat my Cancer and been there always with future care I should watch for - Dr Young has always been light hearted - professional - empathic - and great listener always with suggestions . best for my long time care Thank you to all the Doctors and staff.... keep up the great work....

Dr. Long has been my PCP for several years, and I feel very fortunate to have a dr. that listens, answers my concerns, shows me respect and I always feel that she is interested in my health and concerns. I am very glad to be with Irvine Family Care.

Dr. Young is awesome! He is very professional and yet personable. I feel totally comfortable telling him my concerns and asking questions. He gives straight answers and is humble enough to ask for second opinions from other doctors when needed. I would recommend him to anyone!!
