Today was a turn for the worst regarding Hoag staff. I sat in my room and heard the nurses talking not knowing I was in the room. Garret (nurse) said was talking to his co-worker as she whined and said she doesn’t want to be here. Garrett literally said “If I don’t like people I send them to back to the front”.I was in shock that people come here sick, injured, ill and dying this is what the staff is saying. Shame on Hoag we are human but at least make the a joke somewhere that has m no patients if that’s how he felt. Garrett needs to find another profession. As long as you work in a hospital he will be subjected to different personalities.I will contacting relations and Hoag staff just showed their true colors.

Hello - I am very disappointed with Dr Daniel Su service because my MRI result was sent to his office on 06FEB24 and I have called his office multiple times between 06FEB to 14FEB and asked for someone to explain to me the results. I left multiple phone messages and still being ignored . Not to mention their phone service is extremely poor . It is takes a long long time to be connected to someone after being transferred from one option to another . And then once get connected that someone cannot help either. Overall very poor service for patients.

The Hoag Hospital is good hospital. This hospital treats patients and doctors nurses well. You feel good seeing the doctors nurses.I want to get all my health care at hospital when I see doctor nurse at the hospital. You can feel better and get healthy when you see doctors nurses at the hospital. You should not have to see other doctor nurse after you go to hospital. The hospital can do everything you need as patient doctors nurses. Abdull

I'm an employee and had to go to the ER unfortunately for a non employee issue. From check in to check out everyone was super friendly and helpful. Shout out to Anthony the ER tech for talking football with me while I was nervous. Jennifer the RN in triage and Dr. Ross were super helpful and cracking jokes with me. Cynthia the PA and Pretty the RN were wonderful when I got to the back. They helped me understand my diagnosis and my next steps and all staff really made the hours feel less (They were very busy of course) thanks for all you do!-Emily

Hoag Memorial Irvine is shameless and shady when it comes to their billing practices. We have a lab test with them and was probably sub-contract to other providers that was not within our network (but Hoag is our tier 1 in network). We received the bill which is almost 7-10x the good faith estimate from our insurance. This practice is shady and please be aware when using their facility (as you have no control whom they subcontract to). i called their billing dept and they said we signed all our right away and blame us not reading the forms :). so shady. this is why we have AB 72 and No Surprise Bill Act to protect consumers. I will report them with all governmental agencies to protect consumer. they even refused to stop billing me once i told them that i will file a complain with Consumer Protection and CA Public Health regarded this billing wow.

Just checking my temperature and asking me to go home with a piece of paper ended up for me paying 1054$ after insurance. I can’t imagine how much I would pay for a broken leg, maybe 15000$. I don’t recommend this overpricing hospital.

Why is the E.R. still running on the Covid system ? This is a slow boat to China . Let get the E.R. back and running post Covid. I have an Aortic Aneurysm. Getting checked is too slow someone could die in the waiting room. It's a lawsuit waiting to happen.

I have had good experiences at Hoag Irvine but whoever is doing your valet during construction needs some serious customer service training. I pulled into the ER to take my sick husband. There was construction going on so the workers told me to pull into the exit lane to drop off. I pulled up to the valet and instead of coming to my car, the very large valet woman with a bad attitude just put her hands on her hips and glared at me. I asked her what was wrong and she said “I’m just standing here wondering why you pulled up there”. Not your business lady, you’re here to park my car so I can take my sick husband in for treatment. Please remember Hoag that the first encounter your customers have at your business is the one that makes the lasting impression. Please get rid of unhelpful employees.

I want to thank the nurses and doctors who took such care of my Mother-in law she passed away on 11-3 at 12:25 Am.This is such a blessing hospital to bring any of your love ones great communication with everyone.God bless all of you.?????

Very negative experience delivering my baby compared with San Gabriel Valley hospital . The nurses are so unprofessional - epidural was not working and I ended up delivering with extreme pain; I was numbed too much ; I got woke up midnight 3am to move to a different room literally next day within 24 hours delivering . Even for my son's blood test- it took so long to draw the sample and called me to come again to do it . Can Hoag Irvine get some professional nurses who have more knowledge , better trained and know how to do things!
