I was in a pickle!! I had a co-signer who backed out just as I had made a bid for my "forever" house. My current Loan Officer could get me into a loan but the best loan offer was: No income program @ 7.50% rate, $715k loan, $28,000 closing costs, $6,047/month payment and needing to refi to lower rate & longer-term loan once received spousal support for 6+ months at $6,000 estimated cost. This is not what I felt comfortable doing. Dan put me in touch with the right lender for my situation: Home purchase loan at 6%, 30 year fixed rate for $500k loan with $10,500 credit toward closing costs, $4,046/monthly payment. My savings: $2,000 per month in payment, 1.50% in rate, $44,500 in current & future closing costs, no need to refinance anytime soon. I get my keys tomorrow and I am so happy!! Thank you Dan, for helping through a very stressful situation, your knowledge navigating the mortgage world, and all the additional calming, positive support I needed. I am thrilled to move in to my new house!!

Dan showed us the light when everything was dark! No joke. We had previously secured a pre-approval letter from our regular lender, but the rate was not good enough for what we wanted to buy. We were referred to Dan, and he was able to connect us with another lender with a much better rate we would never have found ourselves. We were able to secure a loan which saved us thousands of dollars per year and allowed us to improve our purchasing power by almost $200K. Will absolutely go to Dan first next time we buy a house.

Dan really is the man for mortgages. I am a real estate broker and have used Dan and his services for all my clients for the last 3 years (My wife and I have also used him personally, twice). He is an amazing find if you are looking for a mortgage. To put it simply, every broker, lender, banker, etc is going to charge as much as they can (hey everyone deserves to make a living, I get it) and its your job as a consumer to shop to find the best deal you can. There are soooo many lenders out there and many offer discounts for their bigger clients and referral sources. In comes Dan Stone with his network of hundreds of lenders, brokers and bankers and he shops for you. He throws a lot of business around so there are many times he has access to discounted pricing where others don't. What I usually tell my clients is shop, do your due diligence and then call Dan. 99 out of 100 times he's going to beat that quote. For those that don't want to go through the trouble of shopping first just call Dan and he makes the banks compete for your business. I have been a real estate broker for 20 years and I have never met anyone with his type of business plan and consumer model, its really the way business should be done. He's honest and super efficient and a pleasure to work with. I'd give him 6 stars if I could.

My husband and I were buying our first home, and of course, this was our first time going through the home-buying process. I cannot tell you easy Dan made this for us -- he searched through hundreds of companies to find us the best interest rate and offer.He regularly checked in with us (about once a week) just to make sure that everything was staying on track, wanted to ask us if we had any questions. And we had a lot. He clearly has a lot of knowledge in this field, and will work hard for his customers.Cannot recommend Dan enough for your next home buying experience. You'll probably save some bucks with him in charge!
