Love the selection and prices. I felt I was back in Japan visiting Daiso. 5 years ago I went to Daiso Hawaii in Oahu. Unfortunately, I can’t understand the writing on the products but just use google translate. There’s a lot of fun products one can find.

Nice big Daiso out here in the great city of Irvine. I love the selection. It is a must if you like affordable kitchenware, tableware, organization, and office supplies.

When I was a child, I loved going to Woolworth's mainly because I could always find something for 5,10 or 25 cents. Now, I LOVE going to Daiso. Most items are $1.50, and I can always find something I like. Each visit is like an adventure! The stores are always clean with a great variety of merchandise ranging from practical and functional to frivolous and fun. I especially like the colorful displays and sometimes puzzling "Jinglish" slogans on some merchandise. You can find everything for automotive to zen at Daiso.Update 11/2/22: Most items are still $1.50, the store is amazingly clean and it's still a good shopping experience!Update 3/29/24: They have raised most prices to$1.75, some items cost more.I like this store because it's always clean, well-stocked and, from what I can see well-managed.

Terrible customer service. Very rude. Accusing customer for being rude when they are just trying to pay at cashier without behaviors and then later tell customer they would refuse handling items in person and ask them to do self check out when it’s not busy at all with no people waiting in line.

I knocked a small item off the shelf and it broke. I brought it to the front so no one would cut themselves on the glass. The manager insisted I pay for it. I’ve never experienced such pettiness before over a genuine accident, especially when being honest about the mistake. I left feeling nickel and dimed, with a bad taste in my mouth.
