There's something wrong with CVS in general, when you send over an electronic transfer request, they automatically deny them. I just had four requests sent over via Amazon home pharmacy and each one of them were immediately denied by CVS. I don't think they have a right to do that. I'm the one initiating the transfer and they have no right to hold my prescriptions against my will.I spoke in person with the pharmacy manager and he said that the other pharmacy should give him a call. I told him that to do with electronically and that CVS needs to respond with the transfer. Everything is supposed to be done electronically so there is a record. Another pharmacy is not going to sit on hold until they decide to pick up the phone over there. So I'm giving this pharmacy at one star because of their rejection of automatic transfers to other company pharmacies, lousy customer service and because of their outrageous prices.I advice anyone to go through Amazon Home pharmacy instead. You can set up automatic refills and use your Amazon card to pay. And it's way cheaper. One medication CVS was going to charge me $89 and Amazon pharmacy charges $17 same medication, same prescription and no insurance!Goodbye CVS with your horrible customer service , inability to fill prescriptions, lack of communication and your prescription goes for weeks without being filled, horrible hold times, and outrageous prices.

Terrible place. They will put you on hold and say there is one person ahead of you then answer and tell you there are 2 people ahead of you and then hang up. The staff is rude and unprofessional. You can speak to anyone because all they do is put you on hold.

I've been coming to this pharmacy for a year and have grown increasingly more frustrated with their performance. They've had two very common medications that i take on "back order" for literally months now. I gave them the benefit of the doubt for the first month or two but it's reached the point where i'm convinced that they're not even trying. I'll be transferring to a different pharmacy as soon as I am able.

Stories like this happened to me several times at the pharmacy there, so I decided to write about it. I was there to pick up 2 refills which were ready to pick up. I also asked if i could refill another Rx ( very easy one), the pharmacy technician said pharmacist is going on break, cant be filled for another hour. So u need to come back later. I am a registered hospital pharmacist, I know it takes 30 seconds to fill and check that Rx. It was a blood pressure medication, but they sent me home and asked me to come back again for it. Even though no other patients were there. I realize pharmacists need to take a break, but i would never send a pt home and have them come back again if i can fill their prescription in 30 seconds!! You are actually decreasing patient compliance. I have decided to go to mail-order Rx so i wont have to deal with them anymore!

Gouged by CVS by charging more than $38 for a 5 day course of ZPAk. Mislead by the Pharmacy stating that the medication is not covered by United Health. United later confirmed that they do not have an alliance with CVS. Can someone from CVS stand up and correct this? This is day light robbery and needs to be addressed immediately.

If you have a prescription that needs to be filled, I strongly urge you go to a different pharmacy. The pharmacist here are the most rudest I have ever experienced. Not sure how they still are employed. I had an emergency medication I needed to pick up for my mom. After she received a text message it was ready we went to pick it up and were sent home for the third time because either they were out to lunch or no one was available to help even though they sent a text message it was ready for pick up. Three days in a row for medicine that was an emergency. It's beyond me how they can have such a careless pharmacist staff. Absolutely the worst pharmacy ever.

I almost didn't come to this pharmacy because of all the bad reviews but then I saw on Yelp that all the CVS in this area has bad reviews. Lol I came in around 2pm today. While I waited for my prescription/ consultation with the Pharmacist, I got a chance to observe all the interactions with the customers and staffs. All the pharmacists and staffs including Keyur (and I believe the other two were Ken and maybe Kelly? Sorry if I got your name wrong!! ) were super energized, helpful and was willing to listen to each person. It felt like a nice neighborhood pharmacy. I'll come back to this one.

The pharmacist working here (who claimed to be the manager at the Lake Forest location temporarily working at quail hill) is extremely rude and unprofessional. Talks to others with a condescending tone.

I have never had an issue with any of their staff. They are mostly genuinely good people from what I can tell that have a positive attitude and want to help. CVS Pharmacy manager there however is a real piece of work. Mind you, I have never asked to be escalated to a manager. Any type of small issue and I'm immediately talking to her. The manager talks over you as fast as possible, does not listen to you at all or answers questions. Her attitude always looks / sounds like she is pissed off like you're wasting her time somehow? Ends the conversations prematurely, usually without the problem resolved and I'm left with just going back or calling back in later so hopefully someone useful is there or she is not there. This has happened around 4 times so far, the first few times I gave the benefit of the doubt that she was just having a bad day... Nope. I have even been denied a prescription by her and told I need to wait a week, went back later and said they would have it to me within an hour, which they did. I have zero idea how people like this get hired for a public facing role. Bad manners, bad look CVS. The Healthcare system is complex and brutal enough, we don't need doctors and pharmacists following that same path. That's the only thing we have left. Let the corrupt insurance and administration be in their greedy bubble. We have already suffered this enough. Get out of the industry if you don't want to help people. These are peoples lives you're dismissing, not a task or job. 0/10 would not recommend.

Pharmacy is not good- store had always good. Most people who work here are really nice but there is one pharmacist there who confuses the heck out of our family when we call. Our doctor called in a very specific dose of medication (which our family follows to a T). The first call the pharmacist yesterday she said our insurance wouldn't cover, I know this is not true due to the fact I confirmed with our insurance company. So today we went into the store to speak with her and both my husband and I left so confused by her explanation it completely ruined our nice Mother's Day.

This is the absolute worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with on so many levels. You are situated in one of the most "exclusive" areas of Orange County, and yet treat your customers like trash. I would quite literally fire every employee and start over. Clearly a management issue from the top down. Apart from "attitude" and total lack of compassion or understanding. Punta or whatever her name is, first to go. PERIOD. She is awful and has no business dealing with other human beings. I've seen the way she talks to the elderly, to the point of me interjecting. The "kids" at the counter, some are actually pretty good, some are completely incompetent. The bigger issue is perhaps a corporate issue and today was the final straw. I will never again use a CVS pharmacy for anything. They will simply "cancel" your prescription order without telling you. Just happened to me. Ohh there is a shortage, or a backorder, I can put it in again. What do you mean "put it in again?" - ohh, so I've lost my place in line for whatever does come in? Well, yes. In the words of the famous little orange man, YOU'RE FIRED. Corporate, get your act together. Call your customers, keep them informed, tell them what is going on. You know, like, do your f'n job! I can't imagine being so awful at my job and yet still being in business. Says a lot about the industry as a whole. Goodbye CVS, good riddance.
