I’ve been trading stuff in crossroads many times and even get a trading card but the last time was terrible experience for me , i gave them 2 bags of clothing and bags , after a while they said they took so items but when i got home i realized they stole some my items (included my new lululemon bag )

Fantastic store! Well organized
Love buying and selling to Crossroads
They have an app you can join the waitlist (so convenient!)
Staff is excellent - helpful and very friendly always willing to answer questions
They are very reasonably priced and have such a good selection of high end brands!

Most of the items in the store are “fast fashion” (SHEIN, princess polly, etc) yet they turn down things arbitrarily if they deem it “fast fashion”.
It’s a little silly because they accept brands like Banana Republic, which if you Google it, it is absolutely also fast fashion.
It would be good for the workers and corporate to have a better definition of what fast fashion is. Brands like Aritzia, Madewell, Banana, etc are just as fast fashion as SHEIN, Princess Polly, Abercrombie, etc.

I'm start taking the extra drive to the Newport location, I came in to many times and I observe on the clothes they take in and the :seasonal apparel" is opinion made ,its OK! Iv brought N brand new stuff and they pass or price it low to make sure it would sale . . . Or its not N style, i normally dont take more then 1 bag end up sitting there for half hour off the rip . . .

Surprisingly selective with clothes you try to sell when the men’s section is so scarce with styles so outdated. Not worth going to if you're interested in the men’s selection. Definitely more women’s choices.

This place is absolutely amazing have so many great vintage and newer items that fit all styles you may have! Along with the stellar selling/trading options however make sure that the brands you bring are well known or you may not get the worth they are. Either then that 100/10!! Always go at-least once a week to upgrade my attire

Have been coming to Crossroads Trading for 5+ years. Here are some things I've noticed recently, A lot of the styles that they are buying up are now circa 90's early 2000's clothing and as much as that is the trend *right now*, people or at least I personally don't want to purchase clothing that are priced the same as they were 15 years ago. These types of clothing should be donated to your local goodwill where you can buy said pieces for $4-8 not $25-35. I really like coming to Crossroads because there are a lot of second hand designer items and higher quality items that I could get for a reasonable price. Unfortunately I see a decline in that and more of the 2003 juicy couture tracksuits, and jeans that look like they've been worn to oblivion but are on the racks just because they are low rise. A second thing that deters me from buying designer items from Crossroads is the uneasiness about replicas. They claim to have a really good authentication process but unfortunately these days fakes are so well made that for peace of mind you sometimes want to buy something and take it to get authenticated which I think everyone should be able to do. The problem is that Crossroads does not do money back but store credit which means you can hypothetically get stuck with the item or a store credit which doesn't really make the customer feel good. That's why it's important when shopping here to leave with something you are 100% sure about that way you don't have buyers remorse. Moving on to all of the employees who work here, they are all so nice. From the probably hundreds of times I've come to shop here I have always had the best interactions with the reps who work at this location. The store itself is maintained well, always clean and often pretty busy. The shoe selection has been so so at least for my specific shoe size but that's the beauty of consignment stores, they are always getting new product in. All in all, this location in my opinion is the best that I've been to just because of the selection of designer and high quality items, I just hope that it stays closer to what has been in the past than where it currently is which is similar to the costa mesa Crossroads where all the items are overpriced and overly vintage

Talking about stock level. If they really take a minute thinking why they have so much on stock and nobody wants to buy from them because those whole decide what to buy don’t have a sense of fashion. I’ve seen they passed on so many items that’s in really good conditions and cute. And their comment is ‘it’s not on trend’. They probably should train their staffs about fashion sense.

If you're over age 35, they don't want your clothes. If your larger than a size 5, they don't want your clothes. If you bring shorts to sell in the springtime, they won't want your clothes until June. If you come back in June, they will tell you they are no longer looking for shorts and are starting to build their fall stock. They don't want vintage clothes. They don't want current styles either. It's safe to say that this is not a thrift store. They cater to a very specific customer base, and clearly that is not me! I will not be returning.

Recommend you to try a different store. Staff here is very picky, although they tried to be nice and smile to you. I tried another location and they bought a lot more.
