Absolutely an excellent resource for navigating the aging process for our loved ones and ourselves. Had a great phone experience with Kwok in the HICAP office. He very clearly understood my situation and my need to plan. So many financial assistance options and the current qualifying income levels. How to figure out how to reduce the share of cost as assets dwindle. Where and how to research nursing facilities that take MediCal/Medicare. I can call them anytime for any questions. They can assist with forms. Truly a fantastic service to help get through the different government service available. We will not be on the hook as we age, reach out now to plan ahead so you will feel.more prepared. A+

I spoke with two different women at the Office of Ombudsman on the phone hoping to get expedited enrollment in Cal-Optima for my father who was alerted by the doctor of a high-risk cancer condition. Not only did the ladies have attitude and were not helpful or compassionate, they sounded very belittling and arrogant. I wish I took down the names of these individuals. The agency that is supposed to be helping people only hinders the process of obtaining help. Truly discouraging and disappointing!

Attorney Kelli Morris & Karen Rossi from FAST - trafficked my mother in probate court for services not requested. They forced both parents into conservatorships and threw their trust in a lawsuit then changed their trust - forced them to pay for lawyers and court services. Kelli Morris and Karen Rossi restricted my mother from her medications, doctors, freedom, money- they sold her house, had her isolated locked up penniless- to die. They are trafficking my Father now. Contact the the FBI. This is what a Human Trafficker looks like - and often places you go to report child or elder abuse are the abusers. Child Protective Services is another one. Go to the FBI center to report DO NOT use this FAST organization. My mother was murdered 8 months later under their trafficking. They are now Trafficking my father. Lawyer Kelli Morris & Karen Rossi violated our civil rights - forced my parents in dangerous situations that caused my moms life and soon my father. Crimes Against Humanity. Murder is a crime.

I was referred to this organization by a co-worker and am very fortunate to have had contact with them. I connected with Lisa Wright Jenkins and she gave advice not just how to handle our "situation" but also different experiences that she's gone through to remind me we're not alone. Very thankful for their help.

Notice a lot of fake reveiws or reviews from people who did not access "Council on Agings" services but either didn't give a reviw and only gave 5 points without clarification and those who once worked there and gave 5 point reveiws...both inappropriate & stacking points for an agency that doesn't deserve it! This agency was of very little help and created more problems for me than they solved. Unprofessional behavior abounds! When you call, they love to transfer you to voicemail; poorly organized and there's never anyone there to receive calls...everything goes to voicemail. They're inexperienced, undisciplined workers who make a lot of typical assumptions about the "aging"...soon it will be your turn to be treated like you haven't a brain in your head...then you'll understand. I've experience rudeness, indifference and negligence when it comes to these promised services that are in place for senior citizens in the community. I'd go to another agency/business...but so far we've been unable to locate similar services other than this one....horrible. Surely someone could build a better non-profit business and do a better job at servicing the public and assisting the older population.Managers & supervisors all just as bad! VERY DISAPPOINTING
