Costco Warehouse on Technology Drive in Irvine is great because you can buy a variety of products, including Korean food. In particular, the advantage of this place is that there are many different types and many great wines. Highly Recommended!!

This review is for Christian, Colin and Evan at the food court. They were slammed with a rush of whole pizza orders at closing (Monday, 03/18/24) and even though some people were getting flustered waiting, they kept up in good spirits and overall just gave really good customer service. Kindness goes a long way. Thanks guys!

I keep going to the technology dr location in Irvine. This spot is usually less crowded than the tustin location and has a good handle on keeping things in inventory. I am writing this review specifically on the inline purchase to replace my dishwasher. The ordering process was straight forward. In Irvine they provide the delivery/install and haul away on the same appointment. The subcontractors they used were solid. During the online purchase you have to select two separate dates for delivery and install, but you can confirm that everything will be done during the delivery date. The app does not account for regional variation. Other big box retailers had the Bosch 300 model at a slightly lower price, but you will pay an additional 300-400 dollars for install/hallaway and parts.

have been going to this Costco for many years . I always prefer to go to Laguna Niguel Costco because their staff is friendly and helpful. I had to return an item purchased last week. I unfortunately had Jeff as my cashier in returns section. He's been rude before but this is incredible. He rolled his eyes and let me know he was not happy with me or his job. I asked him another question ( how was your weekend) and he again rolled his eyes . This was the rudest CUSTOMER SERVICE representative that I have ever come in contact with. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way. I've dealt with him before and the behavior is always the same now I decided to put it in writing.

So as friends, family and Co-Workers (Yeah I am talking about you) will attest we have a obsession with Costco. So much so we have a set of Costco Rules we live by (after the review). We had stopped to get gas at the adjacent Costco Gas and decided to stop on in and see if any local items were available. Also unlike most Costco's this one had a whole adobe colored exterior which was a new one for us. This is your typical Costco and it flows in a clockwise direction from the entrance. You have your typical array of electronics and season items int he front and center and work you way back to the meat and freezer sections. Sadly nothing interesting was to be had but it was a massive Costco with just about everything. As I stated in my review of the the Mountain View location, we do have some rules to help keep our obsession under control: 1) NEVER EVER go in hungry. That 25 gallons of dill pickle chips is much easier to resist on a full stomach.... true story there. 2) Avoid the free samples. People seem to lose their minds with this stuff. They abandon carts with crying babies, block isles, etc all to get that tiny portion of hummus. I have been shoved aside by someone desperate to get a free piece of cheese. Honestly I have seen more dignity from actual starving people in a disaster zone but I digress. 3) Avoid the weekends like the plague. 4) See #1 5) Go often. Costco uses alot of psychology and the fear of missing out is one of them. Odd items you must have pop up then go never to return. I CAN'T MISS OUT AGGGGGGG 6) Know your codes: At costco any price ending in 0.97 means it has been marked down. Any price that is not a 0.99 or .97 such as say 0.49 means it has a manufacturers discount. and price with an * aka "The Death Star" on it means its done and will not be reordered so stock up. If it ends in a .00 or a 0.88 a manager has reduced the price at that location to clear it out. 7) When in an unfamiliar city head to the Costco. They always stock local items you can't find at yours (like two pounds of single origin Kona coffee for 30.00 at the Kilaua / Kona store etc.) and have cheap gas. (Same on Kauai)

I don't expect much from a wholesale store's food court but they managed to ruin even my low expectations. Got a turkey sandwich, all saggy and stale bread, barely any sauce on it and comparing to Costco's Cabot road location, not acceptable.

Today, when checking out, Jessie's attitude was so poor. The customer ahead of us only bought two items and she didn't have a cart. Without asking if the items were hers, Jessie scanned one or two of our items from our cart. Both the customer and us told her it was a mistake, but she got really angry. She forcefully slammed our purchased items onto the counter. At first, we thought it might have been accidental, but she did the same with the items we placed on the conveyor belt after scanning them.It was very rude and disrespectful. Despite her mistake, she treated us rudely, making us feel offended. We hope she can improve her quality and enhance her service standards, and doesn't damage Costco's reputation.

Food court sucks. Order from kiosk then wait 20mins in line for a slice of pizza. Waste of time for $2 pizza. Need to remove kiosks. No more purchases until then. Time is more valuable than cheap food

I have been shopping at technology, Irvine Costco for the last 15 years. Yesterday February 25, 2024. I was there around 3:30 PM trying to purchase some grocery like I used to... When I was at the checked out register, I have purchased five frozen bag of wild shrimp, and I have to stop at multiple grocery store to purchase other items along the way so I use some of produce bag for shrimp in that way It doesn't dripped into my car and the assistant cashier grab those shrimp bag that have I wrap with extra bag to hold the liquid he told me this bag is only for fish. I look up at him I said well that shrimp are frozen and I'm going to stop a few more store before I get home so I figure I use that produce bag to wrap up the shrimp so doesn't leak into my car and he make a big scene out of it I was confused and frustrated. I spent $289 for yesterday grocery at Costco and this employee treat me like I'm not a human. This is not right.

I live 2 miles from the Technology Costco but drive 15 miles to another, because this location is so bad. From the management down, this Costco feels like it's not affiliated with the rest from a customer service perspective. I have been a Costco member for 30 years and this store almost made me cancel.

Costco Optical A huge shoutout to Kim S. at Costco Optical, Irvine. My family is thankful and deeply appreciative to Kim's service and her helpfulness while my wife was picking out her glasses. Kim also informed my wife when one of her glasses didn't fit well and proceeded to find a close replacement. In addition, prior to helping us, she was spending time with an elderly man with his glasses with patience. Her kindness was observed. Thank you so much Kim! What a blessing to be able to be helped by her. She made our day! She was even patient with my young son who was touch everything on sight. The reason I wrote this review was to inform the reader that not all Costco Optical service center treated the customer the same. Unfortunately, the Costco near where I live treated us poorly and the poor treatment to the customers rolled up to the department manager.

The short Hispanic supervisor (vest) today, 2/4/24 at 2:30pm is so lazy. I kept asking for help to look for an item by providing a photo and item number. He just needs to type it to look for the item but I guess it's too hard so he keeps telling me to go somewhere else. Had to ask several times. And he just stands somewhere else doing nothing but tries to look busy. If you don't want to provide customer service, please look for a different job.

I have been shopping at Costco ( Irvine, Technology Dr.) since 2017, and always had pleasant shopping experiences. But the casher at Counter 5 "ADA" today was sooo rude. She spoke like she was the boss constantly using expressions like " you should .. You should.... Do You know..."..... What an awful shopping experience in Costco today!

Parking lot is terrible but I like the staff. Always helpful. The new self check is great- if I go in for strawberry, I don't have to wait a long time to check out

Very big warehouse. Free food samples. Cheap rotisserie chicken! I go here for the basics. The pharmacy is slow and inefficient. I guess they're all like that? Go on Tuesday late mornings and you'll miss the rush. I've noticed I can get cheaper gas at the arco on quail hill. I guess they still offer free parking so there's that!!
