I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BANK WHATSOEVER!!! If you have a checking or savings account funds are NOT AVAILABLE FOR 8 TO 10 DAYS!!! What a rip off!!! Your bills will be late due to there inconvenience. Who really wants to go to work and get paid and have to wait 5 to 10 business days to clear? Throw the whole bank away!!!

This branch is rude to its customers. I just witnessed David using a very rude tone to a customer who asked how to purchased currency. Such a wasted opportunity for a big bank.

I came in 5 minutes before they closed like 3 weeks ago. It was an emergency regarding my card being locked & I had no access to funds. I'm still new with the bank & the tellers couldn't help me. The manager still made sure she got the card unlocked for me made like 3 phone calls & made sure a teller stayed behind to withdraw funds for me. That's 5 star service she's a legend!

Disappointing customer service. Went in for an appointment and waited more than 20 min without anyone greeting us except for when we first walked in, and when we inquire about the wait we were just given a compete run around. It seems like they simply do not care.

Arrive at the counter at 3,ask whether we can meet with a banker today or make an appointment tomorrow,they sat us down at the lobby for 2 hours till 5 when they closed......there is no banker here,so it would be best if you would not visit here

Don't waster your money and time with citi bank! I pay my balance in full each month on the the due date but they charged me late fee and interest because it was past 9pm! Disgusting!

Worst bank/branch ever, zero customer service I went to the the branch to withdrawal $6,000 from my savings upon getting to the clerk of the front desk I told them that I want to make the withdrawal she immediately called the manager “Alex Quenneville” immediately he showed negative energy, frustration and unprofessionalism, wasn’t friendly at all, “at 3:30 pm he closed the door for other customer to come in and directed them to a different branch even though the bank closes at 5:00 pm”he said that he needs to call someone to approve it even though he’s the Vice President of the company anyways I waited for over 45 minutes after that he came back to me saying they need 24 hours to approve me getting my Money, I asked him many times why is that he kept saying he doesn’t know and he cannot help me any further he is very negative unhelpful and useless and has many personal issues, he shouldn’t be working at a bank, after that I went to a different branch in lake forest upon getting to the clerk I told them I need to withdrawal money they said no problem within 2 minutes I had the $6,000 in hand with no issues whatsoever, Alex is a very bad manager that wouldn't be qualified to manage a group of 5 kids he is very unprofessional and rude and has zero customer service skills and knowledge, he won’t be able to actually help you or do anything for you Alex over complicate things when it’s not needed and needs to see a physiological doctor for deep issues and might be a real psychopath

Beware Investment Advisors at Citi. Last Dec 2021, citi branch setup my mom to get investment advise. Advisor Anna persuade my mom to invest all her svgs into a Franklin municipal bond fund. Less than 1 mos, the fund dropped over $5k, and by 5th mos, it dropped $16k more than 11%. Noted my mom is 81 yrs old, do not speak English, and has NO grammar school, not any investment background. I filed a compliant to Citi investigation team. What it came back was she was in suitable investment because her tolerance level is "moderate", and investment knowledge is "moderate". How on earth does a 81 yrs old widow evaluated as "moderate" risk + experienced investor? Then I find out the decision of "suitable fit" was based on "new acct form" she signed. Anna asked my mom signed an open account form (in English), computer-typed by her, ck box "moderate" investment exp, and moderate risk. So my mom never knew what she signed, but was told in chinese that it was an open account form.I was present, and I did asked "shouldn't we wait until next year because Fed is increasing rate, and wouldn't this bond fund goes down?" Anna replied, she followed this fund over 20yrs, and it is very safe and will go back up eventually if it goes down one year. So far, my mom has lost $16,000 over 11% in this fund within 6 mos. And I later find out citi advisors receives commission from clients and being year-end, advisors must be desperate to meet quotas. Also, Please be aware there is no such thing as "Compliant dept" because there is no person's name who email you nor contact phone no. (Only they can talk justify they're right, but you can never talk to anyone! ) When you call and file a compliant, they take your compliant and after 1-mo reply your email with some ridiculous excuses that your investment is right fit, it is just your bad luck investing on the market. BE AWARE OF THE AGENT, "ANNA L"She service Arcadia, Irvine, SG valley. I had to trace her 3 branches to find her#.

Mary Zhao should be fired. She does not do her job well. She came from China thinking the United States is better but she is clearly deceived and confused. I thought she is different, but she has transformed into an Americanized person who makes silly mistakes and doesnt care about customer service. No good Mary.

Terrible customer service. Don't even bother going to this branch. Thinking that an Irvine location was going to be better? Big mistake. The teller (the blonde lady with an accent) and the manager are very incompetent and unprofessional. Neither if them courteous at all. There is a reason why this location has terrible reviews and people don't bank at Citibank.
