I was given a banker's number, one Ekta. She could not have made it clearer that she did not have the time or patience to answer my questions.
She gave me singular word responses and dismissed my requests for help, stating she couldn't divulge the information over the phone. Which is curious, since a banker from the Fullerton CHASE branch called shortly after and was able to assist me with all my questions. All of them.
I wondered if Ekta was having a bad day, but given that there's a previous review of her treating others with curtness, who's to say this isn't her M.O.?
Anyway, I signed up for an appointment today with the Fullerton branch, who didn't leave me feeling awful after a call. If this is how you try to bring in customers to sign up in-branch, this ain't it.

Ekta (Chase Mom) is the nicest banker I have ever met. She taught me more in one hour about personal finances than the American education system taught me in the last 10 years.

If I could give this bank 0 stars I would the staff is always very rude with a poor attitude. chase bank has never given me an issue trying to get change. All I needed was 100 singles and the bank teller didn’t want to give me them because he wanted my account number. Last time I checked a bank account number was not needed to get change. He looks like this probably why he hates his job. Also felt discriminated. Will be taking dither action.

I called for help with a question about the treasury direct form, and I got hung up on by Ekta. I've been a multiyear-long customer, so I feel disappointed to receive this kind of customer service from a bank that I have historically had a good relationship with.I understand people have bad days and working in customer service is a tough job (I've been there), but hanging up on a customer is a bit over the line. I'll continue to support the branch, but I hope something like this doesn't happen again.Edit: I received a call back with a much more delightful and supportive customer service experience. Updating my review to reflect my overall experience. Thank you for clarifying my confusion, Ekta.

This is a small branch but located in a convenient and beautiful shopping center next to UCI. Because it’s near UCI, the main customers are students. On the left of the bank is Regal cinema and on the right is a mini Target store.
