Bison tour for 4 on August 13 at 10 a.m. 2 hours of expedition in the columns of the island to discover the History and life on the island with a great guide Halvey who provides commentary throughout the circuit. Hamer type car with 3 rows of 4. Shaky and dizzy at times. A good time on the heights and inside the island and meeting 3 bison. I recommend. No need to rent a golf cart.

Very unprofessional company. I'm warning others not to do business with them. They're fine hiring racist tour guides with no diversity training despite the diverse backgrounds of their customers. Extremely disappointing.

Had the most amazing time this past weekend at Catalina! We were a large group of 16 but didn't have any issues at all with our experience. Most notably was the Discover Avalon bus tour - if you're there, please do this and you MUST ask to by on Cindy Lowe's tour. She is absolutely hilarious, and so charming - her "dad" jokes are the best and had us all chuckling. We had a great adventure and the scenery was so gorgeous

The bus tour is the best. We got the bus tour our drive we're Cindy lows . She was so funny, friendly and professional ! I really recommend try bus tour!Golf cart renting was fun too!

I went on the zip line eco tour. Both Jaxson and Casey were absolutely fantastic guides with great humor and customer service. The ziplines themselves are incredibly safe with multiple safety redundencies and consistent inspections (I asked the guides). The lines themselves provide a rush and a great view of that part of the island. Would highly recommend to any zipline enthusiasts.

One of their tour guides Mark "Halvy" Halvorsen physically assaulted a man and his golf cart while on one of the scenic routes on July 6th, 2023. Catalina Island Company hires unhinged tour guides who aren't properly background checked because they are desperate to employ people for their tours. Be aware of who you're giving your money to or bring your children around.

My boyfriend & I came to Catalina for the Fourth of July weekend & we saw an ad for a Bison Expedition. We booked it for the second day at 10am & we had no idea what to expect. We picked up our tickets at the Golf Gardens about 40 minutes before & then waited across the lot. Our tour guide, Halvy, was so knowledgeable about the history of Catalina & Southern California. He was hilarious & made this ride so interesting with all of his historical facts. He did warn us that there was no guarantee we'd actually see bison on the tour, but luckily we saw one. While we initially planned to take a golf cart around Catalina, my boyfriend & I both agreed that his tour was MUCH BETTER, as it was a 2.5 hour ride along the outback with amazing views & some history. I would totally recommend this tour with Halvy if you're there in the summer!

I booked this tour as part of my husbands 40th birthday weekend. My confirmation told me to arrive at the Mini Golf to get my tickets. I arrived there at 8:50 a.m. (tour was at 9:30 a.m.). Upon arrival the sign on the window said they would not be back until 9:15 a.m., yet my email confirmation said I had to be ready to go with my ticket at 9:10 a.m.I was concerned so I asked the young male tour guide if it was okay to use my phone and email confirmation because no one was at the ticket booth. He said yes, that was fine.When our tour guide (Ron or Rob, I'm not sure which but he referred to himself as the Bison Whisperer) pulled up, I showed him my phone only to be admonished for not having a printed ticket. I was made to feel bad and didn't know what to say because I didn't want to argue with him. $213.97 to be made to feel bad in front of others. If a printed ticket is required, then my email confirmation should have the ticket available for print so I could have done it ahead of time. Or, the ticket booth at the Mini Golf should have had someone in there before 9:10 a.m. so as not to create confusion and frustration.Further, we did not see one bison, fox, deer, snake or anything.Thankfully the quail and ground squirrels were out. At the end of the tour, my husband said he would come back to Catalina, but not do any tours.

I took the bison tour with Cindy Lowe on Tuesday, June 13 and it was a BLAST. Exquisite views and Cindy was so informative and fun! I was cracking up most of the tour and still learned so much about the history and makeup of the island. She pauses often for photo ops and drove safely, but this is a CHILLY tour so make sure you bundle up! I did not sadly, but the airport gift shop at the top of the mountain sells sweatshirts so I was much more comfortable on the way down. Book this your and ask for Cindy, you'll really enjoy it.

Bison expedition:This was such a fun expedition! Cindy Lowe was phenomenal. She should be a stand up for sure. I loved that they had blankets because it got really chilly and I was with my eight year old daughter. The views were outstanding it really showed another side of the island. I can't wait to come back and explore even more.

We booked 2 tours through this company: the Glass Bottom Boat tour and the Bison Expedition.4/5: Glass Bottom Boat - Fun short tour of Lover's Cove. Not expensive so it's an easy entertainment.3/5: Bison Expedition - 2 hours and much more expensive. Saw 1 bison. Not worth the price.

We took the Bison tour in an eco hummer with Cindy Lowe a few weeks ago. She was funny and personable and we learned so much about the island. She found some Bison hanging out by the airport and went out of her way to get us a great view. I highly recommend this tour!
