I passed by this place for many years, intrigued. The catchwords on the window inspired me to think about the state of my health and the state of my control over my own life. Sometimes you have to go deeply into illness before you realize the inevitable progression this will take. After I started going to regular sessions at Irvine Body and Brain, I started improving my condition. I learned by example about enhancing/embracing/appreciating all the positivity around me. There is a warm and nurturing community waiting at this center, whether you simply want to challenge yourself with a different type of exercise, or want to go beyond that to a more meaningful lifestyle.

I joined Body & Brian a month ago, and I can see a lot of improvement in my sleep, mood, and overall well-being. Master Kim is an amazing person, he really listens to our concerns and understands our problems, and provides solutions accordingly. He takes care of everyone.Before the class, I will be under a lot of stress and anxiety but after the class, I will see a lot of improvement in my mood, and enhances my positive thinking and better sleep. This place has a lot of positive vibes. I would highly recommend Body and Brain to everyone.Thank you.

I have been coming to Body & Brain Yoga Taichi in Irvine for two months. I really like the classes they offer here. By following Master Kim to practice and understand the meaning of Tai Chi movements, it brings me positive energy, inner peace, and inspiration for life. Other classes such as Intestine Exercise class helps me learn how to strengthen my stomach and intestines for better digestion. Wooden Pillow exercise releases tension and pain through various pressure points off my body. Every class is designed uniquely to improve your physical, mental and energetic wellness. I recommend you to come here and experience it all. Master Kim is great. He pays attention to everyone in the class and always reminds us to bring up the positive energy by smiling during the class. The flexibility of taking the classes in-person or online to fit daily exercise into my schedule also works great to me.

Master Kim is fantastic! This class has helped so much with the stress and everyday anxiety I experience. It is a wonderful, positive environment and has helped so much with my flexibility and optimism. I would recommend to absolutely anyone, it is such a wonderful place to be and Master Kim is such an amazing mentor and teacher.

I have been coming here for a month and have noticed a great improvement in my sleep, well-being, and tension in my body! I highly recommend Master Kim’s classes he is great. Also the community here is very open, lovely to be around, and I think that helps with the healing. Thanks Master Kim for offering Qi Gong, Tai Chi, Meditation, and healing!!

Master Kim is the best !!!This place is so good that I wish I could volunteer here for my lifetime. I went there being lost with anxiety and severe panic attacks. With just one session with Master Kim I got a lot of clarity. One week of class and my severe panic attacks went down to zero.Now the other side of it. Be reasonable, there is just one Master Kim. Master cannot give attention to everyone always, in short, master is super busy. To be respectful book appointments.One old line that everyone needs to remember " if you know to do something, don't do it for free, else it will become worthless" - you have to pay for what Master Kim can offer. After all Master is also a human being, trying to keep the place running.

For the past 9 years that I joined this class, even before pandemics I went to this class every day. This practice has helped me in many ways by learning how to breath deeply, stretching to feel my blockages in my body, opening those blockages by free body movements to get to the free flow body movement. The best part is the meditation which is helping me to calmly breath and feel my soul. This practice is helping me to be more flexible by releasing and relaxing my stress and tensions. My joints feel much better because I can feel them by all the different exercises that Master kim teaching every day. Master kim class is a lot of fun and makes me smile. I look forward to this practice every day.

I discovered Body and Brain while searching Tai Chi classes. I did the first introduction meeting with Master Kim and as soon as I started to talk to him, I felt that my life would take a different direction beyond just Tai Chi and my gut feeling was right.First, of course I gained a lot of heath benefits from the various classes. The classes improve so many different levels of your physical health and mental health. You are also never “bored” I would say because even with the same classes Master Kim always add there and there a new twist to an usual class.I am actually realizing by writing this review that it’s the first time I stick with a system for so long. I tried so many other options and never succeed to stay committed any longer than one year. I don’t see myself stopping Body and Brain it would be like stopping to eat or breathe. It’s part of my daily life now and would be too miserable without out, my body and my brain will tell me “no no no” get back to what is good for YOU.Also I wanted to make progress even faster so I am taking a private class with Master Kim every month and that has been also a game changer. If you do regular classes and love it, get a private with Master Kim, it’s so worth it. When we can be fully happy why postpone? or say I will do it later? if you feel you need Master Kim to make even more progress in your life at all levels then don’t think twice, just do it :)You can “invest” in yourself because YOU are important as much as the people you love.

I began taking classes here a few months ago based on the referral of a friend and have been attending weekly ever since. It's been fun exploring the different classes ranging from taichi to deep stretching to wooden pillow healing. The teacher, Master Kim, is truly a gem. His compassion, wisdom, and humor make every class special and inviting. I have learned so much about energy and the body and brain connection, and I look forward to learning more.

I joined Body & Brain Yoga Tai Chi in Irvine 2 months back and am so happy I took this decision in my life.Having undergone, 2 Renal Transplants and few other major surgeries, my body has undergone a lot of trauma.The 2 months here, I have already started to feel changes and have been able to communicate to my body & mind so beautifully well that I want to experience this more... I have already signed up for the whole of year 2022.Master Kim is an amazing person so full of energy and spirits which he passes on to his students too. He is very knowledgeable & communicates & guides us in the simplest of terms which actually makes a great impact on us. There's so much laughter in the class that at the end of the class, you feel light and refreshed.I highly recommend this place...God Bless!!!
