This is by far one of the best labs I have ever had the chance to host a surgical Education program at! The Staff is so friendly and helpful, they are a pleasure to work with and help to make the day go as seamless as possible.

I was disappointed that the training facility did not have any bathroom facilities that were gender neutral and also did not provide me with a safe non-gendered place to change into scrubs, even when I requested one. As an openly trans physician, it soured my experience with an otherwise well run and high tech lab facility. Please consider having bathrooms and especially changing facilities for trans and non binary users and employees of your facility, so that we can focus on the skills at hand and not bathroom and clothing logistics.Addendum to address reply from Axis below:- You did have the opportunity to discuss my concerns prior to this review; Axis did not take that opportunity during the event.- According to a study by UCLA, 27% of California youth are gender diverse/gender non conforming; I recommend that you re-evaluate whether providing gender-inclusive spaces should be considered a "special request" given changing demographics.- The approach of expecting gender diverse attendees to request restrooms and changing spaces in advance means that you are expecting them to out themselves and places the burden on them. While I am out professionally, not everyone has the support system I do to advocate for themselves or to be out.Thank you for your response.

Axis Lab was a great lab! Abel, Adam, Megan, and Michael were all so helpful from planning the program to post program. The lab and staff were beyond accommodating and helpful. We have never been to a lab as organized and helpful as this one! We cannot wait to come back!

Axis Research and Technologies is extremely well-equipped to host large educational cadaveric training programs and has hosted our company multiple times. The staff are incredibly accommodating and the facility is quite large and has high-tech AV capabilities to incorporate with in-person or virtual training initiatives. I am already looking forward to our next program with them.

Axis consistently provides a top-notch experience and environment conducive to training. Their staff is knowledgeable, communicative, friendly and prompt through all stages of reservations, equipment allocation for our needs, setup, tear-down, and day-of activities. They make it easy on us so we can keep our focus on learning.In addition, Axis has recently made some notable A/V tech improvements to their Irvine facility that add usable presentation options to an already clean and complete user-oriented space! Good work Axis team!

If I were to describe Axis Research and Technologies I would have to say a very professional and well organized company. This company with the help of Abel, Mike and Christian make my job and the training for our physicians go perfect. Every lab they place every effort making sure that our preferences for the lab are followed, our customers are taken care of and always holding a professional manner to our company . Not sure where to begin with Axis Research & Technology Lab. I’ve been in the medical industry for over 11 years and have been to more labs than I can count. Attending these locations have historically required flying to the southeast, northeast, or even west coast. Maybe I’m bias because this is a lab located close to home but I can tell you that you won’t find a better location. From a travel standpoint this lab couldn’t be more perfectly placed. It’s roughly 10-15 min from Baltimore BWI and 30 min from DC. Located in Columbia there are numerous hotel and dinning options. The lab has a smaller executive board room, large conference room, kitchen, and auditorium that seats 115 people. From lab perspective you could do something for a smaller groups or something on a much larger scale as there are two separate lab areas. All the rooms are wired to stream or record the procedure with editing software to provide you with a take away experience. Christian runs the facility and is top notch. His attention to the customers needs are second to none. Scheduling these labs can involve lots of moving parts and last minute changes and he’s always gone out of his way to accommodate. From someone who’s traveled all over and experienced all there is to offer nationally I can firmly say this is the best of the best. I’m so satisfied with my experience that I’ve been pushing this location internally for all our lab needs. I’d like to think this will become a central training location for my company.

Without hesitation I would recommended Axis labs for all your bio skills training. I work for a med device company and have used Axis on many occasions both for training customers as well as internal personnel, and Axis always delivers. They are professional, well equipped, and a pleasure to work with always willing to go the extra mile for their customers. If you are looking for a great lab, you can be confident that Axis will provide you with an excellent experience.

AXIS is the hidden gem of Irvine! Their team and facility truly brings to the table a world class experience. We found their facility to be clean, well laid out and spacious while offering plenty of opportunities to do unique collaborating. I would highly recommend AXIS to anyone looking for a unique event space and or medtech/ healthcare training, education, etc.
