Wheel lugs not torqued… Just found out today…
Went there two months ago… ever since car was back been having wired noises.
Just found out today that the lugs were not torqued to spec….
They were very helpful, just to be fair.

I thought that I was in good hands with such a high Google review score. I drop off my car for a nail in the tire at 1030 am Sunday morning. I was told that I would be out of there by 1 pm. I call at 1:43 pm and I am told that I'm the 2 cars in line. My car was not looked at. I'm sitting at the next building over at the Del Taco for 3.5 hours. I receive a call back at 2:03 pm. "your tire is not fix or patchable". "You need to buy a new tires and alignment". "Nothing can be done today". Why couldn't you tell me this 3.5 hours sooner? You wasted 3.5 hours of my life, and you want me to come back tomorrow and buy new tires and an alignment. Can I please come in so you can waste more of my time. If you are not going to be respectful of peoples time. You shouldn't be working there. Thank you American tire depot I accomplished absolutely nothing in 3.5 hours.

In order to change or buy a wheel, they need all the data of the car, in order to understand the dimensions of the wheel you only need the vin number of the car, and not the car data, can the ssn number also provide you??

I went to these guys to do a wheel alignment after replacing the steering knuckles. They tentatively quoted a price of $120. Ok. After the inspection, they gave an estimate of $1400 based on rusted bolts and rear suspension components. Said it all had to be replaced. Without even trying to torque the bolts. I went to another car service and they actually replaced the bolts with new ones and adjusted the wheel alignment. Total I spent 220$ along with parts instead of 1400$ at this car service. I do not recommend this car service. You may be cheated.

So friendly and kind — they looked at my faulty tire, found the problem (a broken stem valve), and fixed it free of charge. Also, so courteous when I asked them how to reset the tire sensor. Absolutely going back there for any tire issues I may have.

I wanted to do oil change and there was staple in one tire which needed to be removed. When i shown it to Costco they suggested to replace tire. As per their standards/Protocol it was not repairable. And as one tire will be replaced, they wanted me to replace two to make it balanced which could have cost me around 400$. This was first time I experienced not per expectation service from Costco. So, I made appointment with American tire depot. They took care of flat tire repair (Free), Oil change, Tire rotation (Free) and basic inspection of car. It was hassling free and good service by them. Definitely recommend

Went in for a flat tire. I was told the wait time is 1-2 hours. I I waited 3 1/2 hours the reason for the wait was because they wanted to upsell me for a service. Just change the tire!!

I recently visited American Tire Depot in Irvine for a tire rotation. From the start, the store manager, Ricardo Bravo, was dismissive. He seemed reluctant to perform diagnostic checks unless I could pinpoint a specific problem.
I was disappointed to learn that the website doesn't clearly state any age restrictions for tire rotations. After expressing my frustration, I observed the staff from a distance. They left my car suspended in the air for over 30 minutes without working on it, which felt like retaliation.
When I finally got my car back, I was told the fluid levels were good. However, I noticed the coolant level was low. When I pointed this out to the manager, he dismissed it, saying it was fine. This made me question the thoroughness of their service.
Due to this negative experience, I will not be returning to this location. The manager's dismissive attitude and the staff's unprofessional behavior were unacceptable. This was especially disappointing considering my status as a veteran, which the manager referenced as I left.
