If your making your Caribbean cuisine for dinner and you looking for that secret ingredient, you can probably find it here. It's a small shop and very few parking but in this plaza you can walk in, get your hair done, pick up lunch, then stop at Yaya's and grab your items for dinner. They are very helpful!

Great things come in small packages..... Nestled into a small shopping plaza is a market I take weekly visits to. I said that I'm the unofficial african abassador to the caribbean and latin america , so part of my job is to eat n drink caribbean n latin . This market covers everything you need. Be it ground provisions (green banana , yam, sweet potato , plantain) to natural teas (morenga, ginger , sorrell) and everything in between . The people who run the shop are very chill and will give you top tier service . They will even go as far as to try to get something thats not in the store . Probably one of the best things I found was the soursop ice cream . I tell ya it make me eat da carton an all. If you are on la brea blvd. N centinela definitely pull up on this place . Your trip won't be regretted.

My name is Chris and I used to work at yaya’s. This is a great store and I’m not just saying this cause I worked here but the woman yaya is very nice along with her family. She cares deeply for the store. There is a lot of good stuff in the store that I really liked when I work there.
