I'm 39 years old and went to this school when I was in preschool. The fact that it's still here is amazing! As a child it seemed bigger but I suppose that applies to everything when you're little.

I went here a long time ago. We're talking 1987-1990ish. I had a very enriched childhood here. Learned all my basic self care. I still remember some of my time here. When I get to bring in my cabbage patch doll here. I remember being in the front building, then in the back building for school and enrichment. I remember nap time on the green cots. I remember watching reading rainbow when I was little. I remember swinging on the swings. The wiz was my childhood. I no longer live in the LA area, I'm not in the Inland Empire. I miss the principal that used to work there. Her name escapes me but I remember when I was bad, I used to sit in her office. Hahaha. I was 5 years old and didn't know better. This was a wonderful place back in the late 80s early 90s. Great memories here. I still have pictures too. :)

My daughter (1 year old) is part of their infant and toddler program and I feel the staff are great. This being my daughters first daycare away from home, I was worried how she would take being away from myself or her mother, but she quickly found the staff agreeable. Most of all, the staff are quick to answer any questions you have and definitely make you feel as if youre taking your kid over to a relatives home, they're just that likeable. I highly recommend!

My son was here for all of a month which should say a lot. His teacher, Ms Alicia was WONDERFUL; she sent the kids home with homework, and also projects that ensured parents were involved in the children's learning process. My issue mostly had to do with the way the school was run. I do not like that every time I would drop my little one off to school the kids were stuck in front of a television. He can do that at home for free if that was the case. Also, my mother was late to pick him up ONE time because she couldn't find the school, and from that day on, EVERYDAY, for 3 weeks until I pulled him out they called me at 545(the school closes at 6, asking if someone was on their way to pick him up because he was still there. They tape the tuition bill to each child's sign in sheet, however the older gentleman (owner) or ms christalynn(I may be spelling her name wrong) would ask me 1. If I got the bill and 2. When I planned to make payment. The final straw for me was when my son was missed breakfast but was dropped off within the designated breakfast time. Breakfast is scheduled to be from 730-830am, I got him to school at 8am and was told it was "too late" because they already put the food up. I was assured he would be fed anyway, but when I picked him up he informed me that in fact was not fed. I really wish ms Alicia worked at a different daycare center, I loved her, but the school itself isn't worth the tuition.

The Wiz in inglewood is a great infant center and preschool. My daughter started off at the infant center at three months old and is now in the two year old class. In the infant center they always did hands on activities like finger painting, coloring and making crafts. Before she was two she knew her abc song very clearly and could count to 15. Everyone in my family were amazed at everything she knew. Now that she has transitioned next door to the preschool she is learning so many new things. I love the fact that each age class has their own separate classroom with adjoining doors. They have kidney tables, bulletin boards, etc. it really looks like a kinder class. The teachers are great! You can tell they genuinely love teaching and love their students. I would recommend this school to any parent that is looking for infant care and preschool.
