I’ve been renting an EV from Hertz in Inglewood since May 2024 and I’ve never seen such unprofessional and rudeness from an employee in my entire life as I have from one of the employees here. I believe her name is LaShawn. She’s a young girl, obviously she doesn’t enjoy working with the public. When you walk in, she doesn’t even make eye contact and greet you, she just tells you in the most melancholy, unenthusiastic, miserable sounding tone, to scan in. No good afternoon, welcome to Hertz, how you doing, nothing. I asked her automatically today if the manager was in. She said “yes” and then continued to go about assisting me. Not I’ll get her, or she’ll be right out. And this is exactly what I didn’t want, was to be assisted by her. Then I ask her again if the manager was available and she starts raging at me “What’s the beef?” I mean yelling to the top of her lungs. Finally the manager, Jade, comes to assist me, all while her employee is still raging. This girl obviously has attitude AND anger problems. If you call in and someone actually does answer the phone, she won’t even try to help you figure things out. She has no interest in doing her job well not one bit. I’m just trying to figure out what so bad. When I walked in she was sitting down in the air conditioning, leaned back in her chair and talking to her co-worker while texting on her phone. They have a steady paycheck, weekends off, why are you always so angry??? I will definitely not recommend this location. The manager Jade does an awesome job but I don’t see how employees can yell at customers, constantly have a horrible attitude and obviously would rather be doing something else and still keep their job. If I treated my clients like this, I would be out of business. Thumbs all the way down ??♀️??

Thanking Lashawn for such great customer service and going above and beyond to help several people get there rentals properly connected to Uber 20/10 ask for her if you need help she’s going to do her best to help you I would suggest this location over others

While they appear to have a phone number, it is never answered and messages left are never returned. The staff don't even have phones on their desks. Very frustrating because there's no way to handle routine things like checking inventory or updating a payment method on a contract, and God forbid you should need a question answered without having to show up in person. Beyond that, the staff is friendly and helpful.

One of the employees give me the middle finger in my way out of that location.Very disrespectful, after spending almost $8,000 on renting for Uber today One Hertz employees give me the middle finger in my way out,as she went to inspect the car I followed her to make sure the inspection goes well,she why you following me i explained to her why i am following her yet she wasn't happy at all,i asked for some else to help instead of here,then she decided to throw away debit card and license on my face...hertz you need to do batter then that.

Is a fact that this process takes patience sometimes. Think of it as the DMV. But if there are cars available and you know the steps to do this gets easier.I have been helped by different people, and they are all cool. Specially La Shawn, she may look mean, but she goes straight foward so you can be out quick.I suggest to get here as early as possible so you can be done quickly because no matter of your reservation you need to scan a qr and wait to be called, also you will have more cars to choose from if you came early.
