Horrible experience. The first truck I received had a hole in the gas tank upon filling up the truck. I had to return it immediately. The second truck had a nail in the tire, and I had to call roadside assistance to fix it. Upon returning the truck and dropping the keys off at the Arbor Vite and Hawthorne location, I got a call saying the keys weren't there and they couldn't find the truck. I came to find out the truck was stolen off the uhaul lot, and I was being told I was responsible for it even though I locked the truck and placed the keys in the Dropbox. The vehicle was found today almost 30 days later, and I received a bill for almost 7k. We spoke to the manager at both locations to review the cctv on the 30th to show that we returned the vehicle to the proper location, but got nowhere until weeks later when IT and the manager confirmed we did indeed return the truck. This was a pure mess. I hope corporate finds this horrible review.

The process was smooth, the equipment was clean and in excellent shape and the service from Yolanda and her staff was A++. I will choose this location first for all my LA-area Uhaul needs without question.

The line was long, and it was very slow, and no one acknowledged the customers until it was your time to be seen. I was not informed on the process to check in the vehicle after hours and was charged double even though I asked. When I called to question why I was charged double, no one answered the phone all day! I had to go back up there to be told, "oh well there are signs". When people are moving and have a billion things on their mind, they are not looking for signs when they could have been told when asked what the process is for bringing back the vehicle after hours. Even if it was a simple, "oh make sure you 'check in' the vehicle, the signs are posted if you are not sure what to do". The tire light was on on the vehicle when I got in to take it and I didn't have time to go back and even bother to let them know, I just took a picture and I had to take it anyway because I had time restraints and I had already been in line for too long. Poor customer service all around.

The customer service was amazing, young lady inside and outside where so wonderful. I felt very well taken care of. Above and beyond service, excellent work and will highly recommend location to family and friends ? ? ? ?? They deserve a bonus!

Calvin and the team went over and beyond the call of service. Plus, it's really nice to see new and qualified representative at this location. I hope that this new team stay forever. I highly recommend this location. Plus, he’s dresses sharp in his U-Haul uniform. So fresh and so clean. NICE ?

Reserved a truck 2 days before pick up, checked in the morning of, arrived and was told they didn't have the truck. They tried to charge me more to give me a van with trailer instead. Wasted an hour of my time while the lady and man behind the counter had side conversations about scamming workers comp and complaining about some lady outside. Would never recommend anyone using this place.

It was impossible to keep the passenger cabin cool. The floor severely overheats it is not only unbearable. It is actually a hazard. The passenger cabin gets so hot that the AC becomes ineffective and is unable to keep up and cool the passenger cabin.

My experience here was actually very good! The staff were super cool. However, there are some cons people should be aware of before going to this Uhaul.1. You will have to take a photo of yourself before your given the keys to the truck. Some people may not like this.2. They will also scan and photo copy both sides of your driver's license before receiving the keys to the truck.3. Their after hours drop off system really sucks. So if you rent a truck make sure you drop it off well before closing.Also do not arrive right at 7pm or 5 minutes before closing thinking someone at the counter will help you. They won't. They will lock the doors and shut the lights off on you real quick so drop off your truck early if you want a person to help you.The app to drop off the truck is very glitchy and slow. It kept freezing and it didn't even show which store your dropping the truck off at. In addition it did not email me a receipt like it was supposed to and just automatically charged my card. I had to go back to the store the next day and have my receipts printed for me. For that reason I had to knock off a star. But over all great customer service and friendly staff. I would definitely recommend this place.

I total forget and left my tool bag with other items in the back of cargo trailer that I rented. After I dropped it off they called me an hour later to notify me of my stuff that I left. I really appreciate the honesty of this place and thankful to get my tools bag. Thank you guys so much!! I had a great experience overall as everything was fast and easy. Thanks again 1000 stars.

Calvin H. provided excellent customer service. I left a very valuable item in the van and he was honest enough to leave it in place, without tampering with it. He is a man of integrity and very professional. I appreciate his honesty, his integrity and his overall professionalism.

I I can first say the ladies in the check in counter seemed just there doing their job, no smile, no good morning but did check you in, equipment was fine, clean and suitable for my needs that day. BUT my complaint and disappointment is with the return process. When I first got my truck I looked at the gas tank and noticed it was less than 1/2 a tank not sure where that puts it but it was the line before 1/2 a tank, was not too concerned because I wasn't going to be going a long distance. I made sure that I put the same amount of gas back in the truck with a little more. But when I returned the truck I was told by Assistant Manager, Delroy, that I hadn't put sufficient gas in the tank, I said what do you mean, I put what I started out with and a little more. He said No the truck had 3/4 tank when you picked it up, I argued that he was wrong but he said unless I have a picture he could not do anything to waive the extra almost $80 for gas fee!!! I will never use this location again, nor refer anyone to it, they are not honest people! I would never try to get out of not paying for something that is my responsibility. Do not trust them, go somewhere else!!

I would give 0 stars if I could I don’t recommend anyone to visit this location because there is a young black girl here with a very bad attitude as soon as you walk in , the other reviews of prior customers are not lying , she has one the worst attitudes I’ve experienced in a long time , the only pro that the guy with dred locks was very helpful he is a young guy to but was very happy to do his job and take care of business but I hope that young lady finds work somewhere else where she is happy because it was a very nasty experience dealing with her

Nice staff.They could clean out the rental trucks a bit more better but I like the location overall. Customer service on the phone are nice people too.

I had a very pleasant experience at this location. CSR Alvin was very helpful and knowledgeable. His ability to multi-task in assisting three different customers at once was remarkable!
