This small humble store sells great tasting injera, a staple (ethiopian style pancake made from teff, which is used to scoop up food) for eating Ethiopian dishes. There are other places that sell injera, but the dfferent types of injera available at this store is the one my family prefers. Not only is it tasty, but it seems to stay fresher longer. It may be a bit more expensive than other places, but it's worth the extra cost. It's also a good place to buy other items related to things Ethiopian, especially spices. One thing you should know is customers are served behind the door that is half open on the top. The sweet and kind elderly woman who works there is so helpful and polite. She fetches what you want from inside the store for you.

They have a WIDE variety of quality products from dry goods, coffee, serving cups and trays, incense, and clothing at very low prices. I highly recommend.

I arrived on a Wednesday at 1145am and they were closed, although the sign and the website said they were open. Also no contact number for the store.

The best beef awaze tibs in the city! This spot is sacred to me... The woman cooking in this place is annointed by The LORD God himself! They don't usually have a "full menu" of food but if you call and ask "what are you cooking today" they will tell you... If you love Ethiopian food, try this place ASAP! You won't regret it... & They always have awaze tibs on the menu! If I could afford to eat it everyday, I probably would!

I had an issue where I did not have cash for a purchase, and the owner (I assume she was) was so generous in her trust and helpfulness that my issue was no longer an issue. An old school community business that invests in people, and deserves to receive that inestment back 10fold.

I'm ready to buy just based on the phone conversation with Isaac. A friend lives in Albany, New York formerly of LA and she wanted black soap as they have no black markets there as we know of. Isaac warmed my heart just by being open and easy to talk to over the phone. Im enchanted and would gladly send friends and associates to their market to shop.

Staff was friendly and helpful. They have a guy that makes fresh sushi every hour! Their deli is amazing with great selection. Took my food and sat on their nice patio by their wine & spirits store
