Cant speak for the market in general guys, however the butcher shop/carnicería has some of the best chicharrones in the City. To my knowledge they make them daily and are ready after 10/1030. If you don't know what chicharrones are it's deep fried pork belly. Pace yourselves tho lol... but nonetheless they're really good. Bring cash to avoid the almost $5 fee they charged me this last weekend for using my debit card...2lbs of chicharrones cost me $28 and at the register I paid $32 even-though there's a sign posted indicating 50 cent charge for debit cards... but other than that guys I hope you all try.. just be careful they're addicting lol..

This is Specifically for their Carne Asada! Get IT! Don't walk, RUN! Ask for it prepared with marinade! I constantly get compliments on how juicy and flavorful the meat is, it disappears in seconds. I should have learned by now, but always ALWAYS buy extra!

A diamond in the rough, this little market in the middle of a neighborhood, so parking is not a problem. What is a problem is the distance this place is from where i live. I travel from Long Beach to Kelso's for their delicious Chicharrones and Guacamole Salsa. Due call ahead of time if they have Chicharrones available because they do run out, especially if I have been there earlier. I have encountered a line there before, but the food is worth the wait.
