I'm surprised to be the first review - Jose has been doing taxes for decades and is a known business in Los Angeles. I have been doing my taxes here for almost 20 years, and my parents for over 30 years. He usually has a long line, so go early before they open to put your name down on the list. There's a delicious bakery a block away (Jalisco bakery) that has the best pan dulce while you wait. Unfortunately, my last experience was not positive. I was audited by NY state because of a mistake Jose did. Not only did he file the wrong form, but there were computational errors as well. I understand he may not be familiar with NY taxes being from CA, but I would've appreciated honesty from the beginning and would've been happy to go elsewhere. 3 months later, and I'm still dealing with the audit and a lot of $$ spent in fixing the mistakes. If you're doing California taxes only, Jose may not be a bad option. His fees are a lot less than other tax services. But beware if you're filing in any other state and go elsewhere!

lousy experience. I went to do my taxes in this place six months ago and I still haven't received my tax refund. I went to the IRS and they told me that they can't give me a refund because they did the calculations wrong in this place. I've been to this place many times to get my problem fixed and they don't want to help me. the IRS tells me it is their obligation to fix the problem. But since they don't solve anything for me, I'm going to have to pay and go to another place to fix the mess they made. please don't go to this place!

I've done my taxes here for a couple of years already and the times that I have been here I've been charged $60 and have always claimed dependents. This year I was charged $100. I asked why I was charged $40 extra and was told because I claimed dependents and that they had to keep copies of all the forms in case of an audit. From what I know a business shoud always always keep their forms in case of an audit.. so I honestly think they are taking advantage of the situation because to me thats not a valid excuse to charge extra money. Last time I will be coming here. And I will not be referring any more of my friends and family to this place ANYMORE!! SO DISAPPOINTED.

I like coming here doing my taxes but with Jose two years ago I did them with some lady that has curly hair she’s super RUDE didn’t even greet me and my husband she just keep looking at me with a weird face if u want to do your taxes do them with JOSE!

I’ve been filing my taxes with them for 3 years but After this COVID 19 pandemic, the whole stimulus check situation... I’ve decided not to file 2019 taxes with them. I haven’t received my stimulus check, I call them and they tell me I have to be patient and wait...that I might get it next year. I’m like why? I have my direct deposit and everything that I need that makes me eligible unless they did some monkey business. Really disappointed because I was counting on that money to pay rent. Don’t go here ppl.

Please make sure when you file your taxes in this place that they process it properly and most importantly of all, that you register your transaction with the IRS, because several weeks ago I made my tax transaction with them and I am confident waiting to receive my refund, I call this place and they tell me my taxes were sent.
I contacted the IRS customer service line directly and SURPRISE my taxes were never sent, the database does not record that I have not reported my taxes until today 4/23/19.
I call them and ask them to send my documents to my house as soon as possible to do it online with an IRS consultant (free service) and they tell me that they will let me know what day they can send it to me.
One piece of advice after making a transaction in this place, please be sure that your transaction is completed satisfactorily.
