I cannot express enough how disappointed and frustrated I am with the service provided by H&R Block and specifically Laura Rosales. Despite providing all the necessary documents and information well in advance, she managed to file my taxes a month late. As a result, not only did I receive a huge penalty fee from the IRS, but I also had to pay it out of my own pocket.
But that's not even the worst part. After this whole ordeal, I decided to file a peace of mind claim with H&R Block, hoping that they would take responsibility for their mistake and compensate me for the penalty fee. But it has been over a month now since I filed the claim, and I haven't heard a single word from them. They have completely disregarded my claim and continue to ignore my attempts at reaching out.
To make matters worse, Laura Rosales has been completely unresponsive and negligent in her duties as a tax preparer. Despite multiple attempts at contacting her, she has left me on read and has not even bothered to apologize or offer a solution for the mistake she made.
I urge everyone to avoid H&R Block and specifically Laura Rosales at all costs. Their incompetence and lack of professionalism have caused me immense stress, financial loss, and wasted time. It is clear that they are only interested in making profits rather than providing quality service to their clients. Save yourself the trouble and find a more reliable and responsible tax preparer. Trust me; it's not worth the headache dealing with H&R Block.
