“This store is Great. The staff is AMAZING. Went in yesterday and they were so helpful and patient with me. The store has plenty of varieties to pick from I felt a bit better than going to the market. Usually always get my WIC at the market especially the veggies because it's diff you don't have to get a whole bunch u can get single (like banana, avocado, apples etc...) But I found you can do this here too on some items. The veggie selection is ??. Plus you get a gift with a certain amt purchased. (At least when using your WIC)
The only downfall is they don't carry gallons of milk only half gallons. But they have Milk so ?? yay.

“I have known about this place for years, decided to go in. I bought strawberries for $1.50 and a small seedless watermelon for $1.50. OMG they were delicious the strawberries were big, red and sweet. The prices on fruit and vegetables is great. The strawberries are $3.99 @ Von's. In one week I went back 4 times. “This store has fresh high quality products without synthetics and I like that this store offers daily packets of individual mulitvits as well as in powdered form. It has been very hard to find daily packets of multivits at any local nutritional store. As a teenager I was usually very deficient in iron, folic acid, etc however I became health conscious in 1984 when I was offered a job in the juice bar at Peter Gillham's and after taking the mulitvits I noticed that my nails became long and strong and I was generally healthier. I used to prepare Mr. Gillham's favorite drink called "Bohemian Protein Drink" with pineapple coconut juice and delivered it to his office upstairs on the corner of Catalina and Fountain. I have become very inspired by Mr. Gillham's knowledge of health and nutrition that I'm educating my boyfriend on nutrition and I plan on cleaning out his cupboard of cheap bottles of generic vitamins and replacing them with Peter Gillham's multivitamins. I would like to continue to be supportive of this store even after 38 years. PS,, I am also kind of relieved that the store attendant that worked there in 2015 has moved on and is no longer smoking cigarettes near the entrance of this store .”

No luck! Cashier encouraged me to ask the Manager. He checked didn't stock it and wanted to know how to use it.
He was very interested. I'm
an adventurous cook so I went
back & got Coconut Wraps &
Coconut milk. I've used the
wraps already. They're great
but get your toppings out first
'cause the wrap can get dry and
brittle. Then I wrapped it with a
paper towel to keep it together. Sorry no picture I ate it. Didn't
expect to review. The Staff were
great. Highly recommended!”
