βI have been to Brea Test Only Center a few times in the past 5 years and all experiences have been nothing short of stellar. I have a pre-2000 car that requires the old-fashioned dynomometer test. Many shops have stopped testing these older cars altogether, and most of the shops that still do this are charging exorbitant prices. Not so here. Gerardo is an awesome guy who always shows great concern and attention to my cars. I'm always in & out in less than 30 minutes, even with Gerardo going through the 27 year smog test history of my very temperamental car. He's also got the best prices in town. I consider this to be the best smog station in the entire LA area, and I've been to many in my 50 years of driving in CA.β
βExcellent service and prices. Needed to replace all of my old tires quickly as they were very worn down. Alex efficiently installed the new tires and I was back on the road in no time. I will definitely be coming back for any future needs. Highly recommend.β
βThese guys are the best! Very honest and transparent, fair with their prices. Truthfully I donβt know anything about cars or their maintenance, my fault honestly. But these folks are very trustworthy and they do great work. They get a lot of business, I can see why! Iβll definitely be returning if I need anything else. I had my foggy headlights buffed out, got an oil change, coolant topped off, and had a filter replaced. Very quick and professional! Very personable and friendly as well.β
βCasey came out same day today, Completely agree with the other reviews on Yelp. Casey communicated very well both on the phone and in person. I wanted all 4 rotors/brakes changed out, and he gave me a competitive price, had the parts in stock, showed up promptly on the same day as the call, and within a blink of an eye, he had the brakes/rotors swapped and ready to roll. Will absolutely be sending his business to my friends in need, Casey is a guy you can trust to get it right the first time.

βNov. 2025- I took my classic muscle car in for a difficult job and the team at Wise rose to the occasion. I had a set of 335 width rears and 295 width front tires to install, no easy job, but the team took their time and made sure the installation went smooth. This is a family owned and run business that I highly recommend everyone support.β

βFernandos is a good mechanic shop. We told them the problem with our car. They explained what could be causing it and kept it overnight. There was a complication when we came to pick it up but they were able to sort it out after a few hours. Overall good service for a fair price!β

βWhat an honest mechanic shop run by owner operator Romero and his son Alex. I hate writing this review because I know how busy he'll get once people read this wonderful 5-star review I'll be posting on Google. I don't mind sharing this great mechanic shop because they don't overcharge you on parts and repairs like the big car dealerships that are just in it for the money. They say when you find an honest mechanic shop owner, don't tell anyone else or he'll be so busy that he won't have time to fix your car, but that's ok because he's a great owner operator and he hires great mechanics to repair your car right the first time with an affordable price. He also fixes up cars and sells them at an affordable price. Please don't go there if you want repairs done free without paying or trying to get over on him because you're a cheapskate. They are a small mechanic shop that helps people get their car repairs done at an affordable price. I hope you go there with good intentions on getting your car repaired without the overpriced charge from the big car dealerships. He replaced my 2011 Audi Q5 water pump, thermostat, belt, and water regulator way cheaper then the dealer quoting me over $2500 for all the repairs.β
βI cannot say enough about Alex and Elizabeth, the kindest proprietors I've met in Los Angeles. Alex did a fantastic job on my old 2007 Toyota Corolla, bringing it from a collision to perfect condition at a reasonable price. He communicated regularly through the process. βIβve taken my car to Kimβs auto service many times, so far theyβve done a good job. This time I brought the car in for brake replacement and alignment. The only minor issue was that it took a little longer than estimated (they did let me know, but I had to wait a few extra hours). The price was also a bit higher than I expected, though still reasonable given the service.
Overall, I recommend Kimβs Auto Service & Repair to anyone looking for a trustworthy mechanic in the area.β
βBig shoutout to this for place installing my tires. I called in to confirm I had my tires delivered there and they offered to install them immediately but I was at work till 5 and probably will not make it. I forgot his name but the gentleman on the phone offered to stay past closing to install if I could make it 15 mins after they close. I made it exactly without needing the extra 15 mins and they raised my car and with the quickness installed the tires. I will come back for tire services for sure. Shout out to their whole team there.β

The service Immediately had hospitality Energy that was inviting and very professional.
Mr William and his staff didn't up sell the service, but more importantly saved me money with advise and integrity of services to be rendered.. they could have done the brakes as needed without me knowing of an underlying issue, but they chose to stand on integrity, honesty and professionalism that ultimately saved me 1,200.00 out of pocket. Mr Williams advise me on the next steps moving forward before he did the Brakes , reminded me it was in my better interest cost efficient, but more importantly safety to my life and others!
