I recommend Wrench Monkey, he’s a great mechanic!! Finally one I can trust!! I had to have my back brakes replaced. Arthur was very polite and explained everything he needed to do and afterwards explained what was done. Price was fair and the job was done quickly. He’s my new go to guy!! Thanks so much ??

I have a Lincoln Nautilus suv that needed an oil change so I read the great reviews on Arthur and decided to schedule the service. He was very helpful and professional and his back yard is set up as a repair shop. I sat and watched him and was out of there in 20 minutes. The next customer arrived as I was leaving. His price is very fair and much cheaper than going to the dealership. I will definitely be going back in 5,000 miles!

Arthur is the single most thorough and honest mechanic I've ever worked with. I brought him a European car which he doesn't service but he researched it, made calls, and ultimately told me that while he could do it (and it would be a costly repair) he was going to advise me against it-- and then he shared his research findings with me. I appreciate and value him so much. While I don't have a repair at the moment, I very much trust that Arthur will be the one fixing all my cars from now on. Thank you, Arthur!!

So I was searching for a mechanic to help me with my car. I came to this business and found that he works from his home, I say this because on his webpage an address is given and it is a house in North Indio. So I called and it sounded like a young man, but was really rude. I dont know why he questioned my phone number, I guess my name was not coming up or something. I dont know as I dont call myself, anyway He asked me for my cars vin number, I told him I did not know that, he seemed to get upset and told me that I had a car and did not know my vin number? I mean who the hell knows the freaking vin number??? I told him I did not know that but that I did knew the kind of car that I had. On his webpage, maybe it is a good idea to let the public know that when we call, have the vin number ready. It was a waist of time. A person that does not show professionalism is a person you should stay away from. Thankfully we have thousands of mechanics in our valley.

We were heading to Palm Springs for vacation coming from the Bay Area. The A/C began to blow warm/hot air, I believe the condenser or valve got punctured during our drive. It was extra stressful because we had our dog with us. Luckily, I found Arthur on Yelp who was beyond compassionate, knowledgeable, and provided excellent customer service. He quoted a fair and reasonable deal for the service/repair on such short notice. Being in the heat, concerned with the safety of my dog, and dealing with the a/c issue came with some irrationality on my end when asking questions/logistics of the situation. But nonetheless, Arthur remained patient and level-headed the entire way through. Thank you for going beyond and taking care of us - we are very blessed! Sidenote: this was during the 4th of July weekend and availability for car repair/service was limited everywhere!

Easy and friendly service! Got an oil change and glad I found Arthur, will definitely be bringing my car back for any other mechanic needs. Took about 20 minutes and I was able to sit in the backyard where he & Paul were working with a fan on me. Anything longer and definitely wanna do a drop off but I could tell I was in good hands and they seem super knowledgeable and very honest. Great experience.

We were new to the desert and needed a mechanic. I almost did not go with Wrench Monkey because it is still about 30 minutes in a direction I do not frequent but I am so glad that I did! Arthur is the real deal. I have a 2013 Honda Accord that I use for mostly commuting. I noticed that I was having trouble accelerating on the freeway which can be death when those big rigs are coming for me, or at least that's how I felt getting onto the 10 from the 62. On the 2nd day of the acceleration issue, I was too paranoid so I called AAA to tow my Honda to Riverside. My guy said, transmission was DONE and I needed a new one. I called Arthur for a second opinion. I told him what the problem was & what the other shop was telling me. He was apprehensive to tell me much without being able to see my car in person but by the verbiage of the other shop, he knew something didn't sound right. Let me tell you, this shop was trying to get me into a used transmission for some odd 3k and for a new transmission 5k+. The lady who worked the front desk was using scare tactics to make me commit to a new transmission & recommended that I did not drive the car AT ALL. I called AAA and towed the car to Arthur. It was not the transmission at all. Yes, my transmission needed to be serviced, because I had never done it but Arthur had a plan for that. Turned out, I needed new spark plugs. One thing I really like about Arthur is that he does not try to rob you. He gave me a list of things that needed to be serviced for my car and let me know which were urgent and what I could hold off on. With just getting into a new home and having such a long commute, during the surge of gas prices - I needed that help. I really really needed that help. I have taken my car back quite a few times to get caught up on my maintenance. I have had my car since I drove it brand new off the lot and really wanted that new car feeling back. Arthur has not disappointed. He said to me that my car was driving smoother than manteca on a hot tortilla & that man was not lying. I sometimes prefer to get into my Honda rather than my Mercedez because it is such a nice ride. I sent my husband to get his work truck fixed and because of all the modifications he's made, Arthur had his work cut out for him. There was one issue after another, after another & Arthur took this job personally. I truly respect his work ethic. I also sent my sister & my mom for multiple services. My mom is always a "karen" as the youngsters say, and I told her in advance, don't you play with my mechanic or you can't go to him. I meant it. Another thing I like about Arthur is that he has SO much information that he is willing to share. When he tells you what is wrong with the car, he will explain it in detail, how it works, what happens if, what exactly needs to be done, generic or OEM parts/prices, pluses & drawbacks, I mean its endless. I have learned a ton. I get a real kick out of diagnosing my car before I take it to him to see if I am correct. I started to think I was a real mechanic & I may or may not have looked up classes to increase my mechanic skills but that's a story for another day. If you need a legit mechanic, try Arthur. I do not believe you will be disappointed in the slightest. Customer for life.

I am new to the desert so my husband and I know no one really here except a handful of people here.. I was so very happy I was referred by my friend Cristina to this mechanic. Arthur is very honest and helpful. I truly appreciate his help with my a/c issue in my car. Best part is he listens to you and works with you to come up with the best options for your car and he is honest and hard working.

On our way back to northern California. My fuel pump went out. Arturo was able to work me in-between other jobs. Fair price. This is our second time using him. Four years ago he put new shocks on my boyfriend's truck. Did a great job then. I highly recommend wrench monkey.

My car broke down while on a trip to Indio from LA and while I originally had my car at another local shop, it became very clear after only a couple of conversations with Arthur that I had made a mistake by not going to him first. He quoted me far less than what the other shop had, he facilitated getting my car from their shop to his, ordered the part and had all of the work done quickly and correctly. Arthur has something that every mechanic I have ever met doesn't...a wonderful sense of communication. Thank you again!
