UNLIVEABLE....As a single man , despite having looked at the place I thought I'd give it a shot and went ahead and booked a week. After two nights II decided on a better standard of living and checked out at the crack of dawn. The rooms need a ton of work. I don't recommend it for children. The management said they would refund my money for the unspent nights but never did. I'm going to try calling them occasionally to see if they bring in someone with better communication skills. They seem very nice though.

Older place so don't expect perfection, but it was clean and the proprietor was nice to deal with. Can't beat it for the price.

No swimming pool like it shows in the advertising ad. Very quiet place, nice place to stay a few nights. No ice machine or laundry at this motel. A/c works really good and neighbors are polite. And a cleaning person brings clean towels every couple days. Nice place to stay it's ok

Re: DO NOT BOOK HERE..I booked a room here with some of my pals for two nights and let me tell you the room we got was not nearly as good and clean as the one you see in the picture. In addition, after being charged for the two nights they took $300 off my bank account with no reason, no authorization so i have been trying to get my refund its been over 2 weeks already and all they said was that its processing which seems sketchy after it being processed for 2 weeks. Currently trying to sue them.

I hated this place. There were people going in and out of the room next door. They were smoking weed. The other couple on the other side of me were fighting. There was a front door and back door, I felt like someone was going to break in the back door. There was blood on the cloth headboard. I slept on my towel. I didn't want to use the blankets or sheets.

DO NOT BOOK AT THIS PLACE unless you do not care for your safety . Palm Shadow Inn needs to be shut down by the Indio Health Department. The room we stayed in had cigarette ashes all over the night stands, smelled of urine, mold, pealing paint, etc....you name it this place is DISGUSTING. We had NO other choices but to stay here . We only stayed 1 night and that was enough. Not only was the rooms NOT clean but the people lurking around property are scary. The room next door the two individuals got into a verbal altercation and were screaming and threatening each other all NIGHT (they were also LIVE in workers of Palm Shadow) . Who ever is giving this place positive reviews has to be people associated with Palm Shadow. I wouldn't wish my worse enemy to stay here

The room was huge. The bed was comfortable. They have a flat screen tv with Direct TV. HOWEVER it was hard to find the channels as I DON'T have Direct TV a channel list would be nice

DO NOT STAY HERE... This place is full of CRACK HEADS. I saw three while I checked into my room and witnessed a drug deal right next door to my room. If that's not bad enough, I asked for a refund, the owner told me no. THEN HE CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD A SEPARATE CHARGE OF $339 FOR NO REASON. PLACE IS NOT SAFE AT ALL.

They're too nosey and they don't let you live your life and don't let you sleep they bother you and the make you stress out you can't even scratch your butt without them telling you something about that too
