Who ever is doing the pricing at this thrift store is off their rocker! Every thing is ridiculously priced. Floor lamp price at thrift store, 15 dollars used. Brand new at Walmart, 9.99. Humidifier in as is condition, 50 dollars (looked used). The humidifier I just bought at Costco, 39.99 new. They wanted 2 dollars for a used lightbulb?!?!?I do occasionally find something good at this thrift store which is why in occasionally go there. And please please please stop writing prices on glassware in sharpie. It is a pain to get off which also makes me think twice about paying your ridiculous prices!

I find it crazy that the employees keep things for themselves when a customer finds it and just says "that's not for sale it's for the store" INSANE

Higher prices .. they've raised their prices in the last 4 months since I was there last time , at least double the price . Their shelves are full because people aren't buying..

It was to my surprise that the person that assisted me on this day was not having a good start , she displayed it by being a bit rude. Her directions were not kind and I just wanted her to know I wished her a happy day. I was thinking of all the bigger men that would be receiving good clean clothes.

This is a review of the donation process for Martha's Village. I am moving out of the area and wanted to donate some large items that are in very good shape but that I'm just unable to move myself due to distance (sofas, a bed, side and end tables, coffee table, never-used clothing, etc.). I called 2 other thrift / donation stores in the area first, just out of habit since I'd donated to them before many times. Both gave me a bit of a runaround ... one telling me I'd have to wait over a month and that I should call back if they were big items; the other telling me that I would have to pay $150 if I wanted to donate. It was pretty insulting. If I'm donating excellent quality items (including relatively new pieces from Pottery Barn and West Elm), I shouldn't have to pay a few hundred dollars to donate my goods. I called Martha's Village after talking to a friend about my dilemma. I should've called Martha's from the beginning. The process was quick. They asked me to snap a few photos of my items & said they'd send a truck the following week for free. The truck arrived at exactly the time it was scheduled, and the moving crew was extremely friendly, very careful with the items, did not scratch or hit a single wall in my home, and were very professional, complete with mask-wearing due to the covid-19 pandemic. They gave me a donation form, and everything was done within a few minutes. I was extremely impressed and would highly recommend people donate to Martha's Village in the future. Great experience.

Waaaaay overpriced compared to the other thrift store as around. They also write the prices in sharpie on the actual item so it's impossible to get it off. Also, there was a pool table being donated and the person working called his friend to see if he wanted it.. ha! Just wow.
