My review is not for the Cardenas store in general as I've had a good experience here overall, HOWEVER, today I had the unpleasant experience of my mother and godmother telling me that they felt David, the man working in the taco area had disrespected them my talking to them like if they were a burden when the location was not even busy. I will never return to this location, anybody that has had the experience of a loved one treated poorly would understand. That is all I have to say.

I love their grilled chicken from the deli, They have a special Legs and thighs eight piece For $6. I was very disappointed because they gave me 4 legs and 4 backs. I don't know if they think backs are thighs. Next time I go I will point this out.

Everything is very too damn expensive, theres always ONE cashier in the money orders stand. If you mean what do I mean about damn expensive I'll tell you they charged one bottle of water NOT EVEN named brand just regular water for $2.50 in other places there like $1.25

I used to like eating at there hot bar . But then my soups started tasting salty. I was in the area again tried the soup AGAIN it was salty. Also I started tasting more of a lime taste in my FRESH pre-pkg corn tortillas. Not going to buy them anymore.

Staff is not helpful. And are never around to help. And the fruit is not fresh. It is sometimes cheap. For some reason every time I go the strawberries are moldy. And the staff cant help you if you dont speak Spanish. Only because 99 % of the staff only speak spanishStore had self check out but beware if you have a problem you are on your own to solve it, they tell you to go find to correct price

Yesterday 12-15-23 when to get my meat for tamales, I always take my own grocery bags and bag my stuff, but what I didn't like is that the clerk kept on asking me about how I was going to pay. Instead of offering help to bag my things, so I ask her can u pls help and she only bag one. she made it so heavy. My point is train your employees to be helpful and nice especially with elderly people like me , and yes I spend $113.00 dollars I needed help bagging.

So yesterday I went to the market for prepare masa for tamales. When I got home I smell it fine but the taste was very awful it has a sour taste. This is the second time the second time it happens. We had to remove the chicken away from the masa. NEVER EVER GOING TO COME HERE AGAIN.
