I can't tell you how much I appreciate having a relationship with my small-town bank branch. Because I have banked here for twenty years, both personally and with our family business, they know me and I know them. Never was this more important than when I wanted to pay off my home but bank policy is to hold the funds back for two weeks. Luckily, it is at the branch's discretion to release or not. Because of our relationship, this branch made the purchase of my home possible, releasing the standard hold on the money. I value loyalty and so do they. Thank you CalBank Trust Indio, and especially Maricella for the personal touch!

I am very disappointed with the service, equipment, and currency I received from this branch. In early October I cashed a check, worth a substantial amount, written to me from a member of this institution. I immediately drove to my bank, down the street, to deposit most of it and their equipment found a suspicious bill inside one of the bundles I had just receive from California Bank and Trust. My bank notifies me and reports the bill to the FBI. We waited 4 weeks for a response and the $100 bill was indeed counterfeit. Please be watchful of the currency you receive from this branch. Once you walk out with it they will put the blame on you. I'm going to file a complaint and even a police report against this bank and branch so there is at least some documentation on record for the next person. Please protect yourself and review each bill you receive from them.
