What a shame it’s all about extracting $$$ out of your pocket. Delayed approving medication prescription from a less expensive source ( chewy) in order to spend more $$ with them. No bedside manner or care for your animal here !!! Dr. Needs to retire and ride out into the sunset with his millions !!! What a joke !!! Pathetic representation of services for animals!!

Very small family practice clinic so they get busy but if you have an appointment, you’re in and out within 2 hours!! Very affordable compared to VCAs. Definitely recommend!!

I would just like to start off by saying that Dr. Clark saved my dogs life. My dog suffered a fractured jaw. I took her to VCA in Indio, the staff was very rude and heartless. This was devastating because I would go there anytime I’ve had an emergency. This last experience was awful and you can tell that all they were interested in was the money. They charged me $300+ and all they did was give my dog a little bit of medicine. "Dr. Baxter" at VCA didn’t even want to give me an estimate for the surgery unless I committed to paying the $6,000-$8,000. I don’t know about you, but I don’t have that amount of money just lying around. With tears in my eyes and my heart broken, I asked her what I should do, to which she told me to put down my dog, with no compassion or care in her voice. I began calling around. There was a wonderful organization called "We Saved a Puppy" that was willing to help but with work I couldn’t drive out to San Diego. A friend of mine recommended AAA Affordable Veterinary Care, I gave him a call and he offered to help me with no hesitation. Initially I was scared because his reviews weren’t so great. Let me tell you, they are so wrong! Dr Clark was compassionate, patient, and extremely friendly. Dr Clark saved my dog’s life. He’s very straightforward and he does have a bit of a wait but I think that just says a lot about his work. People just keep coming back. He was very busy and he still saw me that same day. He was so good to my dog, he even gave my dog a kiss goodbye when I picked her up after surgery (on a day they were closed nonetheless). He did the surgery and x-rays for less than half the price VCA was trying to charge me. I personally feel that he really cares about the animals, he told me some days they just go till they can’t go anymore. Even now when I call him with any concerns about my dog, he answers my questions. I highly recommend him! Don’t listen to those other reviews, these people have no patience or understanding. I think him and his staff are amazing, I am very grateful for them.

I called to see if I could make an appointment for my puppy. The man who answered the phone asked for the reason for the appointment. As I began to explain the situation he cut me off and put me on hold. I hung up after 40 mins:

So hubby tried calling for over a week. Left a couple messages never heard back. I called 20 times before getting an answer. The problem is the Dr. was extremly RUDE. I made an appointment because my dog needs to get seen. But I have decided I rather take him to VCA. Laters bye bye

Ooops! I almost brought my beautiful family pet to this place for medical care until I read the reviews. Glad I read those first. Thanks folks for your comments. You may have just saved my pet's life. It seems this vet needs to find a new job somewhere (may I suggest maybe as a butcher).

I simply just called to see if they carried heartworm injection, instead of answering my question, the receptionist responded with a question 'is your pet a patient here', I responded ' no, i would just like to know if you carry the Proheart 12'. she jumped down my throat stating ' I have to know who I'm speaking to before I go ask the doctor a question'. Totally an unsolicited response so I hung up on her. Her Tone was disrespectful and rude. I should have looked at their Google reviews before calling...It explains the low star rating and trend this veterinarian and his office have. If they were this abusive over the phone, can you imagine how they will treat my pups behind closed doors?...I'm soo disgusted. Am happy to go somewhere else and give them my business...Mr. Clark and AAA Affordable Veterinary Care, get your office in order so you can clean up your reputation. Aren't all your bad reviews on Google and Yelp embarrassing for you?

I took my beautiful Bella there and the vet dr. .Clark didn’t notice she was anemic instead the front desk nice lady was the one that mentioned it to him, look at her eyes she seems anemic, she knew more than the vet, after he put her thru none necessary exams, and the price was too high!??

This doctor was very rude disrespectful and did not want to schedule me an appointment for my puppy said it was my fault my dog got sick and to top it off he hung up on me!! Like really isn't this your profession to help animals in need... I feel very disgusted by this very bad experience

My Chihuahua suffered from a broken jaw and the refused to see the dog because of the Corona virus. I think that's really low. they didn't care whether the dog lived or died all they were worried about was I'll catch the virus from somebody strange.

Owner was very disrespectful to my mother, accusing her of false accusations and hung up on her, when the medication wasn’t even properly explained for my dog. Waste of time and money

Dr. Clark is very professional and helpful always there when needed and prices don't keep me in debt. Would never take my animals anywhere else.
