VW Roadside Assist covered the tow in from near Blythe and dropped me off at the drive at 2am.
After an uncomfortable night’s rest in the little blueberry (GTI), Santiago and the guys had the service station opened at 7am and welcome me in where they quickly offered water, coffee and just warm spirits after a long night.
They quickly got the locking lug nut issue resolved, offered to replace the others with standard ones (yes please!) and got the spare on.
While they didn’t have the tire I needed, Santiago went above and beyond to find me nearby locations that would have one in stock and his recommendation panned out.
