“A clean store. I donate all my stuff here it's the closest thrift store location. Prices are a hit or miss. I've been to other thrift stores with quality items at a cheaper price.”

“Awesome customer service! The store has a wide variety of unique collectible merchandise. The owner will tell you the history of any of their vintage items in detail. I bought some great 1980s vinyl records. Once again super-friendly customer service!”

“We were on the hunt for some DVDs to entertain our kids on a road trip. Was happy to see a pretty decent collection of DVDs and the prices seem cheaper than Good Will. Also, the clothes here were well organized by color. Didn't buy any clothes, but the store is well kept. Would return.”

“Let me just start by saying that a five star is not enough! I live in Las Vegas and while visiting San Diego we decided to stop into this store, although it looked small from the outside I was AMAZED when I walked in. Let me start with the staff very welcoming and helpful. As I walked through the aisles embracing the cleanliness and color coordinated clothing the Manager “Angela” walked by and asked if we were looking for something specific. This was my opportunity to tell her that the store looked AMAZING! Her approaching us definitely speaks volume and shows that she takes ownership of her store and cares about the overall experience of every costumer that walks through the door. I would definitely recommend everyone to stop in you will NOT be disappointed.”

“Absolute favorite Salvation Army store I've been to! I live kinda far from this location, but I love it so much so I keep coming back. It's clean and organized. Every time I go, I find something cool. Gonzalo is the man! A genuine, helpful, and kind person. Made my shopping experience memorable and that doesn't happen often.”

“I came to this store not knowing what to expect. But as I walked in I was greeted by the owner and said welcome, if you have any questions please feel free to ask. I found myself in a store that carries from new to used at great low prices. From landscaping equipment to kitchen items. Furniture, construction tools and even baseball and basketball cards. It's like a high quality thrift store with great customer service. And a new business to the hometown of national city ca. Welcome V&P I wish you all the success. I bought a basketball card and a few other items.”

“I loved this location, we had a day of thrift shopping and ended up in the evening here. The manager gonzalo was a really nice person and very attentive, he keeps a clean location, and there was a lot of space for parking which is a huge plus.”

“Small thrift store in National City. Came here with a friend while thrifting on a Sunday morning. Very quiet place filled with mostly furniture and home decor. There was a handful of clothing racks in the back corner with some cool finds, but ultimately neither of us got anything. This was a cool, random find but will most likely not return because of how small the selection is. Giving 4 stars because of the lack of variety in stock, but the shop owner was nice! This is a great, local place to thrift, just not for hardcore thrifters.”

“Great location. If you're somehow bothered by the presence of unhoused people around this location then I recommend you go to a suburban location and don't badmouth poor folk.”

“Nice a big thrift store. Went here with my girlfriend. She used to go here regularly but she hadn't been in awhile since she moved in with me. She saw one of the cashiers Leticia that she knew from years ago when she lived in Chula Vista. Lots of good stock!”

“This little thrift store is very little. Like, the size of a bedroom. However, their prices are very reasonable and we were able to find 5 pieces of clothing to buy. I would for sure return. Keep your expectations low because of the size only, but be optimistic.”

“Spring Valley. Lots of parking in front. Been going here for years. Organized & clean. One of my go to spots for my polo shirts. The 25% off for Veterans, is a plus for me. All the staff are nice & friendly. Special mention to "Jessica C." (cashier) for her Outstanding customer service. Great personality & treated me like a VIP at check out. If you like shopping at thrift stores, I highly recommend checking this place out. Thank you. Salute.”

“I have visited this store several times and have found some good items. I would say that the toys and books are very inexpensive, however, the clothing is a bit expensive considering the fact that you could get new clothes at other stores for the same price or less, nevertheless I recommend shopping here if you want to find unique pieces. As for the the donating process, it is fairly easy, but I will say some of the employees working there are a bit rude. I just donated some things earlier today and the older lady that helped me was very negative and seemed bothered by every question I asked, she definitely needs to be more nice because her attitude discourages people from going there.”

“Love that this thrift store has actual thrift store prices! On top of their great prices they also offer additional discounts on different days. I've shopped here for quite a few years now & both my daughter & I always walk out happy & with something good in hand. This thrift store will continue to be the first place I choose to thrift at and also the first thrift store I choose to donate to.”

“My Mom and I love to come here. I started going to a "bin" store in Oklahoma city while living there for the last couple years and when I moved back home this summer i couldn't wait to take my Mom to the bins here in San Diego (San yisdro) and show her how much fun it is. I was sad when I found out that things are a bit different here like there is three bin stores in San Diego county and each handles different types of donations. So San Yisdro has clothing and linens only but we find so many good items for a good deal. You can do a auction buy earlier in the mornings for a pallet of clothing but I haven't done that yet or in between 10:30am and 1pm you can buy clothing and shoes by the pound. I am still learning this store but what I am understanding is 35lbs and under is $22. Then 35lbs and up to 60 is $35. Shoes are $2 a pound. I might be wrong so check with a employee first before buying. We went two weeks ago and found a abundance of stuff in great or new condition. This morning when we went it was mostly poor condition and most should probably just be trashed. So it is different every time you go which makes it fun. Every time I go I can find stuff though you just have to dig to the bottom of the bin. I also shop for my family and not just me but I usually can find one thing for everyone.Have ? fun”
