La Posta Market is a small local grocery store that serves the community with a variety of fresh produce, meats, and prepared foods. It offers a friendly atmosphere with a clean store and usually short lines. Customers can find basics for Mexican and American cooking, including fresh onions, peppers, and good-quality meat like marinated chicken legs that are great for barbecues. The market also features a hot food counter that serves delicious, homemade items such as pork tamales, tortillas, and tortilla chips, which are highly recommended by visitors. The salsa bar provides a good selection of salsas at fair prices. While the store is appreciated for its convenience and quality produce, some products are more expensive than other grocery stores in the area. Avocados, for example, are well-priced but often overripe. Prepared foods, like tamales, are tasty but can be a bit light on meat, and prices for packaged goods tend to be higher. The market includes amenities like an ATM, water machines, and a patio for eating hot foods. However, customers note a small store size, limited selection, and higher prices compared to larger stores outside the area. Despite some drawbacks, La Posta Market remains a popular staple for locals needing quick, quality ingredients or a bite to eat.
The service is excellent but the prices are a lot higher than most of the grocery stores in the area , I was in a pinch and had to buy a beef stew packet I usually pay $1.49 , it was $3.99, I wish I had the budget to shop here all the time but I don't , it's a nice place.
