We had purchased a shark tooth necklace and while on the way back from Cali, I mistakenly threw the bag that held the necklace away. I called asking to buy another and have them mail it to us, and a week later, did so free of charge! Going through a lot at the moment and the man I spoke too - unfortunately never got his name - was extremely kind and made a hard situation just a little better with his kindness and generosity. Safe to say every visit to San Diego will include a stop here! Thank you.

Bibbeye’s is a piece of my history is so enjoyable to come home and visit family the first place I go is Bibbeye’s i’ve listed a couple of pictures of my favorite pieces. I have collected over the years many others but these two are my favorite. I can’t wait till my next home visit.

Always a great place to find treasures. One of the last real shell shops left on the California coast. The owner and staff are friendly and knowledgeable and happy to talk or answer questions. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

Quaint shell shop with shells and other natural items found from around the world.
Geodesic, fossils, jewelry, and tons of different shells.
Excellent for tourists to bring some beach home.
Excellent for crafting!!
It's not a fancy shop, but neither is the beach. It's very appropriate.

I don't go to San Diego without stopping at Bibbeys. They have hoodies, shirts, shells, Sand Dollars, Stones and souvenirs. One stop shopping and very nice people.

I grew up in this town and Bibbey's is a classic. He has so many shells and souvenirs at a great price. I enjoy walking around his displays and seeing all the varieties of shells, jewelry and trinkets.

Such a cute little shop! The owner is very nice and there is a really big selection of shells, crystals, rocks and some jewelry. They don’t have California stickers but they have some things that have San Diego on it. There is something for everyone!

I love it here so much!! Surprisingly, this place has the most affordable crystals I've ever seen. $1 for any tumbled kind. The owner is super friendly and he even gave me a discount because I met his dog, Chance. Spent $40 for a hoard of items, including a blue $5 geode that was fantastically heat-treated. The owner definitely knows his stock, he taught me so much about the process of his crystals while in the making. Please visit!

Interesting little shop full of seashells and different rocks. A decent selection of hand carved tiki masks and other tiki merch for collectors. Most of the non wood items in the shop are extremely fragile and basically break when you look at them. So be careful when browsing.

Wonderful shell, rock, fossil and souvenir shop that's right across Imperial Beach. My eight-year-old who is a shell fanatic loved the store. I was pleasantly surprised at the prices -- shells were cheaper than what we'd paid for in Thailand. There was a nice collection of cowries, including rare golden cowries ($30 to $90, depending on size), nautiluses, conchs, starfish, cone snails and whelks. A must-go for any shell collector!
