Let's be clear. The only reason why I went to this guy was because he was the only one available on a sunday to drill holes in a new ball. Phil is a grumpy, cantankerous, deplorable professional and human. He was especially rude to my wife. I have a regular bowling supply in lawndale I go to, and I have never been treated like that there. I do not recommend coming to see him. Poor attitude and poor work.

Phil is a legend! Took a couple of balls to gume to be drilled and they feel great. That's really going to improve my game.

Before going here, I was a little nervous with a thousand thoughts about how to tell him about how I want the holes to be drilled on my ball, like hole size, length of the span, depth, etc. He had measuring balls for all possible variations and he was very knowledged. He even guessed the weight of my ball right!!! I was expecting to make another trip to pick it up later, but he did it within an hour so I didn't have to. After he was done, he let me roll it toward him twice to make sure. Also, he told me to come whenever I need the holes to be widened and stuff later. He also complimented about my ball choice, lol. On the whole, it was a great experience and I can't wait to try it on the alley ASAP.

Bought a ball in to an old friend, coach and mentor to be drilled. He took a layout from a another ball I enjoy throwing and applied it expertly to the new one. I can't wait to roll this one down the lanes! Thank you Phil and it was great catching up with you! #Yoakum'sRookies!!!

Wow wow !!! PHIL is a true expert, he’s very knowledgeable and even took the time to show me how to throw my ball better, You won’t find anyone better then this gentleman here....PHIL is the only guy I’m going to let Service My ball from now on, I drive over an hour and a half to see him??????

Phil is a really great bowling teacher and coach. He is also very knowledgeable about getting bowlers set up with the right equipment to get good results. Also he has a positive and cheerful attitude. Highly recommended.
