I took an orphan baby possum there, and they were so kind in taking her in and giving her her best chance of survival. I so appreciate the work they do and left a donation to thank them.

We took an injured seagull to this center and the people working there seemed so caring. I felt secure in leaving the full in their care.

This is my go to for all wildlife injuries. I have captured and brought in at least 4 seagulls with broken wings and 1 pelican. To my knowledge, they do their best to rehab and release vs euthanize like other urgent cares. I appreciate their dedication and volunteers!

During Hilary, I found a baby opossum stumbling down the middle of a busy street in Irvine during a torrential downpour. Repeatedly attempted to contact them to get assistance, but no answer. So, we decided to bundle him up and drive to their facility during their normal business hours only to discover that they were closed during the time that wild life would most need their services! We drove back down the road to the Humane Society, which was open, and then to a veterinary hospital, which was open, to find out what they knew. We were told that they had closed until Tuesday because of the "hurricane". They didn't even have the decency to change their greeting to indicate their status, or provide alternatives. What a courageous organization! What dedication to their cause! Whoever runs this organization should be removed and replaced with someone who is dedicated to their mission and isn't scared off by a little rain.

I have saved three baby birds and a baby groundhog and taken them here. Staff is very nice. Make sure you donate. They need help.

Visited the annual Baby Shower today and it was an amazing experience! The volunteers were so friendly and very informative. And of course, the baby’s were sooo cute!! I loved the hummingbirds and raccoons! There were lots of booths for the kids and a food truck. Thanks for opening your doors to the community :)

I just dropped off a young possum. As I was getting out of my car, a woman (obviously heading to her car after a long day at the center,) took the time to take me into the shelter and take care of the baby opposum I was bringing in. She took the time to tell me about possums and that it was probably a little boy. I will miss this little fellow, but feel so relieved leaving the little guy in your capable hands. Many thanks and blessings to all of you at the center and the great work you do! I appreciate you all.

The woman who took care of us was so polite and helpful. We dropped off an injured squirrel and they so gently got it from my car. I know it is in the best hands.

Dropped off a small morning dove that I snatched from the cat. I hope she just needs food and rest. She was doing better after a night on the heating pad. I'm so grateful to your team for taking her in!

Found a gull with oil on it and had no idea what to do. They helped enormously. Well worth the drive from south county to HB! That gull is in good hands. If you find a wounded sea bird please consider taking it here instead of leaving it to suffer! This facility is there for them.

!!!!NEVER!!!NEVER!!!NEVER!!! Ever delivering animals to this place!!! They only care about the donations not the animals. That's why they won't allow any visit or provide any following up informations. Even the animal control does! When we arrived there, there was a board outside said their space is limited and suggested not bring animals in. And right besides that board, there was a delivered animal inside a box just in front of their office dehydrated and barely survived, but no one come to take care of it. When we questioned their processing system, they turned to be very rude imidietly, the director refused to show up and hang up the phone right away. Delivering the animal to those kind of facility could be one I live to regret. I cried a lot ever since but they refused to give it back

I'm so thankful for the Wetlands and Wildlife Rescue. We found a couple ducklings wandering on Crown Valley Pkwy with a crow flying hungrily overhead. We were able to rescue them and bring them in to Wetlands to be raised safely for release back in the wild later. Here's a picture of the adorable ducklings while they stayed warm & safe with our young tortoise until we could deliver them to the Rescue.
