There are many pharmacies to choose from where the Pharmacists and technicians are amazing. However, the Walmart pharmacies are horrible. The level of unprofessionalism from the Pharmacist on down is something they should all be ashamed of. People skills are essential in this line of work. Avoid this pharmacy at all costs!!!!!

Walmart pharmacies in general are much much better than the competitors. The one on beach st in HB is outstanding. Take the time to get to know the pharmacists. Worth it!

These pharmacists are excellent. The staff is genuinely helpful and courteous. Once I was about to ick up an antibiotic that I am allergic to, the pharmacist caught it and saved me from an awful reaction. 5 Stars are well deserved. Sally K

This pharmacy is withholding Ivermectin from patients. Putting this review here as a matter of public record for when Huntington Beach Walmart is sued. John and Kathy from this pharmacy will be named and included in an upcoming lawsuit as they are acting as physicians and withholding medications prescribed to patients by a board certified doctor.

A woman named Kathy in the pharmacy was very unhelpful and would not help me get my prescriptions transferred since I moved out of state. I had my daughter call back to get her prescription number because we didn’t have it and Kathy left us on hold for over 20 minutes. This Walmart has terrible service and very uncaring employees. This store should not hire such unhelpful people.

AVOID this pharmacy!!!! My mother is a high risk for Covid, she will die if she catches it. She called this pharmacy to make sure her glucose test strips were in stock and after they confirmed I went in to buy them. I asked "Keyur" for them and he called a female employee who had a key to the locked cabinet. She opened the cabinet and told me they were no longer carrying this product and that we would have to order them online. I told her that my mother said she was told they were in stock. The employee said they were not, so I left and told my mother to order them online. My mother, who has heart and lung conditions went to the store and was assisted by "Vivian" who was able to find them for purchase. I am concerned that the incompetence of the staff put my mother's life at risk because she had to go to the store to buy them herself. Avoid Walmart Pharmacies, their staff have their heads buried up their asses, CVS is a much better company to do business with.

This pharmacy has come through for my family multiple times over the years! The staff - Vivian, Cathy, Michelle...really ALL of them will go out of their way to help and they are THE reason that we continue to use the pharmacy! In 2020, our insurance will no longer cover them and was directing us to Walgreens - no way! The staff directed us to the resources to get a better cash price so that we could remain loyal customers. We love that they remember our names and ask about the well-being of family members. It feels like a "Mom & Pop" shop and I refuse to go anywhere else!

I love this place! Everyone is very friendly. It is like "Cheers" everyone knows your name. I am always greeted with a cheerful "Hi!" and a wave. Both pharmacists are amazing. They are very knowledgeable and follow all guidelines. I was reading the bad reviews and think that the pharmacists are misunderstood. People do not realize that they are liable for all medication dispensed by them. We get our medication under their license, so if something happens, it is their neck. If people were more patient, they could ask them "why?", and they will give you an honest, straight forward answer. Like what I did. They explained rules and regulations, and how laws can change. I didn't realize how much pressure they have on them. Stay home, stay safe, wear a mask please! Be considerate of others. My dad almost died because he got covid and now will need oxygen for the rest of his life. He defied all odds. I am so thankful he did, but it hits you really hard when you and your loved ones have to suffer because people cannot think outside of themselves.

I had complete knee replacement over 2 wks ago. This was out patient and then sent home. I was given 50 pain pills with 2 every 4 hrs is 84 in a week. requested a refill and was told I was abusive and that I may die. After my doctors office called them they refilled another 50 pills, I've dropped my dosage to 1 pill every 5-6 hrs and begin out patient physical therapy in 2 days, I have 10 pain pills left but again requested a refill. This pharmacy not knowing me accused me of being a drug addict and refused the refill. I would not use Walmart HB on Talberts pharmacy....beware.....

Don't go to this pharmacy. I have used them for several years now and it gets more frustrating each time. On Tuesday the 15th of October I took a prescription in to fill from my Physician (35+ yrs) and it was for Tylenol #3 which has 30 mg of Codeine and is used by dentists and doctors for relief of pain. It also happens to be a great cough suppressant which I asked my doctor to prescribe for me as I had a bad case of bronchitis last month and I had some left over years old Tylenol #3 and it instantly stopped my uncontrollable cough so I could get some sleep. It was a godsend. My doctor confirmed it's use and told me they use codeine in cough syrup as well so all good...?? No, the young pharmacist at Walmart thinks not so her "diagnosis" was only used for pain and denied my prescription which was promptly filled by another pharmacy and that pharmacist who was older said...yes very effective cough suppressant ...!! Since when do pharmacists diagnose my health needs...?? I see I am not the only reviewer that this has happen to....!! Walmart, get older more experienced pharmacists please. As for me, I'm out of there. GL

Worst experience ever. My gf went in to buy some bbq supplies including a bottle of wine. I'm 29 and my girlfriend is 22. I was waiting by the door and Rick, one of the people working pointed at me and said I need to come over to show my id. I didn't have anything with me as I wasn't buying anything. The cashier refused to let my gf buy the wine even though I had a picture of my id on my phone. THEN THEY SAID SHE WAS BANNED FOR 24 HOURS FROM COMING BACK UNLESS I CAME WITH HER. Going to let everyone know to never shop here. Everyone was rude and and they had multiple cashiers circling us. Horrible. How does management let a business run like this
