The only reason I am rating as a 1 is I cannot leave a lower rating. The branch manager of the Huntington Beach Branch is a total disgrace and very disrespectful. I called today to question a bank policy and this person started screaming at me on the phone and was totally nasty. I am in the process of moving my account to another bank. I have been a customer of the Union Bank that was bought out by US bank for over 25 years and have impeccable credit. This person who claims to be the branch manager has no business having any contact with the public. I this was my business she would be applying for unemployment today.

Phew! DONT SIGN UP FOR THE FREE BUSINESS CHECKING ACCOUNT AT US BANK on Beach Blvd in HB!!!! Of course it cant actually be free. The first 30 days, you'll have to wait 5-15 days (in my case) to have one of your personal checks to go through so you have enough money to pay for things for your new business you just started up. And while you thought that big check already went through days ago, and you start charging things on your new US Bank card, you'll be getting dinged, $39 per transaction, over and over and over until your check clears, which it may never clear if it gets put info their ATM. You can talk to the manager, but she wont care one tiny little bit, because in her words "We are a bank and we are here to make money off of you (our customers)". ~ Lori Thomson, what a gem. I hope she can sleep at night allowing a bank like this to just steal our money. Screw this bank!

Love the customer service and everyone that works there treats us like family! Mike, Daisy, Tim, Ein-ne. Love banking with them! Mike knows my kids by name. Such a good staff

Been with these guys forever. I actually like the staff and think they are courteous and nice. My problem is all of the sudden I'm charged bogus $30 charges for apparently using my account too much. They said I should have been under the gold account plan, not the silver. Well, no one ever told me what plan to be on and no one reads the fine print on transaction limits. The logical solution would be to waive the fee and have me switch account plans to something that suites my financial situation and to help a loyal long time customer but they failed to make it right with bogus excuses.

THIS LOCATION's bank is awesome. It's my first month with them and I got a hold on one of my checks and needed to pay rent. Tim, who's at this location off of Beach and Adams, was extremely helpful. I explained that I was a college student and I felt like he did all that he could to help with my situation. Very caring people. Oh, also, there's usually never any long lines in there and staff is on it when the lines are long.

I love this place! Everyone here always remember my name and the customer service goes above and beyond any other experience at the banks I've used in the past. Worst experience, horrible customer service. My company banks with them, I do not and never would. I have been bringing a company check in once a month for the last year to cash for employee monthly bonuses. They ALWAYS try and charge me the $7 fee to cash it, after a brief argument with the teller, they usually waive the fee. Well not today, US bank must be hurting for money, the teller, who claimed to be the manager, refused to waive it and basically told me to pound sand. When I asked who the "real" manager was, she said "Mike", who just happened to be "out to lunch". I'll just deposit it into my Chase account and withdraw the money, never stepping foot into a US bank again.

Awful customer service! Just wanted to exchange some currency to be treated like dirt! Elitist Huntington Beach/South OC attitude. Lied to me straight to my face about the conversion rate and then doubled the normal fee.

On 4/5/2017 I entered the branch shortly after 2pm to deposit 50+ checks amounting over $50,000.00. I opened my first U.S. Bank account in 2011 and have been going to this branch since 2012. My teller's name was Daisy Puentes. Daisy Puentes acted like I wasn't a trustworthy customer and kept inspecting the checks in my deposit. Next, Daisy Puentes said she was going to audit all of the 50+ checks to verify if the amount matches my deposit slip. I objected and instructed her to make the deposit and hand me the receipt because I didn't have time to wait for her to go through each check, and if there are any discrepancies then their back office would notify us and make an adjustment to our balance; this is how other U.S. Bank branches take care of my deposits that exceed 15+ checks. Daisy Puentes flat out ignored my instruction, stonewalled me and began counting in each individual check. What an amateur, who trained this teller? Erik was the teller stationed next to her and since he's been at this branch for years he should have signaled her to stop being so obnoxious. Anyhow, I waited until Daisy Puentes completed her audit and finally she verified that all 50+ checks were in accord with the amount stated on my deposit slip. The reason why I'm giving this U.S. Bank branch 2 Stars, rather than 1 Star, is because Daisy Puentes is not a professional and should not be expected be held at such a high standard - Daisy Puentes is obviously a rookie employee. However, Erik should have known better! Daisy Puentes, if you are reading this please update your training. You were very annoying and you completely wasted my time. Don't ever do this again!

The service is impeccable at the Beach Blvd and Adams US Bank. Everyone is so friendly and personable. They really seem to care about everyone that walks in the door. They helped when other banks turned me away. Thanks US Bank.
