This location lacks social professionals. I asked a lady for help and she very scattered as if she was confused on what to do next. I asked her for help finding a foundation brush and she just grabbed a box and handed it to me and walked off. Hate to say it but the Compton location has much better service and store is always stocked.

It's a shame how poorly ran this location is. I came to grab a few things and planned to get in and out. The way the shelves looked as if things were thrown and stocked carelessly, I should have known the experience would be horrendous. When closing out, the cashier had such bad attitude and a harsh RBf. She tried to aggressively persuade me to sign up for an ulta card. I would have done so to help her with her quota if her customer service wasn't so awful. So I paid through Apple pay and the card reader said approved. I asked my little one to grab the bag and the cashier was rude and intended we didn't pay? Didn't apologize for the confusion on her end. Will never come back here, should have seen the recent review posted two hours before me stating another poor experience at this location.

Horrible way to shop when there are such judgemental employees glaring at you yikes! Its sooooo uncomfortable and they are very pushy and try to Sell Sell Sell!!! I just wanted to run out and thats exactly what i did! I prefer to shop online. Its better than getting chased by people with caked on make up stalking you around the store and adding things in your basket you didn't really come for. Geez girls take a chill pill, you don't own Ulta you get paid by the hour.

Angelica at the Bella Terra Salon is a arrogant horrible person. She called me a three days before my appointment. She was firm and blunt. Mind you I had never gone to her before. Stating that if I were 10 minutes late she would not see me. In a very threatening manner. I wanted a trim only. Maybe 1/4 inch cut off. She cut off nearly 4”. It took me 2 years to grow those 4 inches. I paid $87.00 for a style haircut. It had to be corrected. She made an appointment for 8 weeks later. I called to cancel her and go to some one else. She even wrote it down on a card for me. Angelica canceled that appointment and did not contact me to let me know. It was a horrible experience. I spoke to the General Manager and will contact the corporate office. No one deserves to be treated like that. Never go to Angelica at Bella Terra.

For a long time I've done my own hair, but for my 30th I wanted to try something new and not ruin it. I decided to come here to try out a new style, and 2 years later I am still coming in. If you are looking to go blonde, Angelica is that girl. She took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and offered insightful suggestions. The attention to detail and the skill demonstrated by my Angelica are effortless. I highly recommend her for anyone looking into going blonde. The other stylists there are great also! Summer does amazing makeup as well as Daisy. Don't see myself going to another place.

I don’t understand why this location has such a low rating? I went in there last night and everything was super nice and helpful. The security guy was very nice and said goodbye when I left and he had a big smile on his face. The girls at the cash register was extremely friendly and professional. The young woman on the floor was extremely helpful. I had a lot of questions and needed help finding things and getting matched with a foundation and she was great. I don’t know maybe they have a new management team or something. I highly recommend this place. I even signed up for their credit card and they gave me a free mini M.A.C. Mascara. The store is huge! I was overwhelmed when I walked inside there but luckily everything went smoothly.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️?

The fact that they have a security guard explains it all! They profile everyone here. Follow you around and make you feel very uncomfortable. Go to Kohls for your beauty needs which is just a few feet down. They are very attentive and appreciate you and your business. This place is the absolute worst.

I didn’t want to write this review. A month ago I took my wife to this Ulta Beauty location for a haircut and blonde color brightener. Her hair came out a very dark ash blonde for almost $170. As the appointment finished at closing time there was little I could do but pay for the poor quality service as the person at checkout ushered us out the door because well… it was closing time. Now I am at another service provider trying to get her hair color fixed and so far nothing is working. I don’t know what Ulta Beauty did but it is costing me hundreds of dollars to fix it.

My makeup artist cancelled the appointment two weeks before, and I was rushed into finding another. Unfortunately, everyone I contacted was not available. It was when I found out about Ulta Beauty Services. I booked the formal makeup, and was quoted to start at $60, with an additional $10 for eyelashes. The location called me a week prior to the appointment to confirm, which to me was quite far in advance to make a reminder. On the day of the appointment, I proceeded to the end of the Ulta store, to the Salon area. I was quickly greeted and led to Summer.I have to say that I booked her because of her impressive profile photo look. After describing the look I wanted, she got into it immediately. I appreciate the silence going on between us as I am not a chatty person. Summer really took her time to go into the detail and ensuring everything blended nicely. The letdown of this experience has to be the lack of choices. While I was able to describe the look and expectation, I wasn't given a chance to select the shades of colors (e.g., pink lipstick -- but what shade of pink). There was a huge trust that Summer would bring out the look I was after, and she did not disappointed me -- except the lip color. I must say it looks different under the indoor lighting versus the outdoor lighting. But it was an easy fix with a tissue to tone it down. The choice I could make was picking the lashes. I was surprised that these lashes are reusable! For services I received elsewhere, they usually trashed the box so I assumed they were one time lashes. Here at Ulta, I was informed that I could reuse the lashes up to whatever it stated -- that was why they gave me the box.At check out, I was told that the service -- before lashes, taxes and fees, was $70, which is $10 higher than expected. I understand the quote I received was "starting at," but I was not sure what was the criteria for the additional $10 -- maybe the artist status?I will definitely come back for future make up services provided by Summer! Highly recommend her for formal looks.
